I didn't know I dozed off in the toilet. I was tired after all. I was woken  by a noise made by a hospital cleaner. When I checked my phone I had many missed calls. From both my brothers. And I had a message from Sam.

***Tee, I didn't move mom cause dad didn't want to go home. Your suspicions may be right. Emma may be his spy. But I hired a doctor and a nurse to take care of mom. So that the one's dad or Emma got to finish mommy off may not have a chance.***

I went to the basin and washed my face. I looked like a rack. I rinsed my mouth and fixed up my hair. I then went to my brothers. There they were, quite just starring mommy over the window. And Richard was sitting down sipping coffee. How mean of him?! I hated him with all my might.

"Hey sis, you up. Come here ", Emmanuel pulled me in for a hug.

"How are you feeling this morning? ", he asked.

"O-kay, I guess. Any news on mom?", I asked.

"Here's her doctor coming ", Sam pointed out. Dad stood up and the doctor stood in front of us.

"Mrs Corebeny is really doing well. We made some tests yesterday and she's healing very fast. We going to take off the bandages today. And you can speak to her she can hear you but cannot respond. So don't be too harsh on her okay?", the doctor left. We were all smiling.

The nurses undid the bandages. Her scratched face showed. They didn't remove the bandage that was rounding her head and the one around her ribs. So her ribs are broken. I hope my mom's gonna be perfectly fine. I didn't notice I was crying until dad pulled me in his chest.

"Don't cry now angel, she's gonna be fine. She's gonna come back home", I pulled back at lock my eyes with his. Anger was rising from within me.

"If you wanted her to be fine, you would've done everything in your power to find the bastards who did this to her and get them behind bars. You would've taken her to one of the best hospitals. But you didn't care! You wanted her to die like a pig in front of her children! Didn't you want that?  huh?!---", he cut me off by a hot smack. I couldn't believe he just slapped  me. I looked at him. He spat and left. He banged the door. Emma hugged me and I cried.

Sam was holding mom's hand and mommy moved her hand. When Sam was about to say something. The machines started beeping none stop. The noise was high this time. The nurses got with doctors running.  Her doctor ordered us out.

"What is going on---?", Sam was cut by the door closing in his face. We watched through the see through glass. The doctor resuscitated her. She didn't respond. The nurse closed the curtain of the window we were looking through.

I got on my knees and said a little prayer. She can't leave me! Not now! She has to wake up for me,for us! I rolled down crying. And Emma was trying to cool me down but that didn't work. I was losing my mind. I couldn't imagine my life without mama.

The doctor came out after an hour and I was sitting there like someone who's lost her mind. Sam pulled me up. The doctor looked at us. Sam's grip tightened on my hand.

"I have good and bad news. Which one must I start with?", the doctor asked. We looked at each other.

"Bad news first doc", a voice of a young lady came from behind the doctor. The doctor turned to look behind himself.  It was a young beautiful girl that looked exactly like mommy. Now who could be this?

    "And you are?", Sam asked.

"I'm Revinna, Lizzy's second last born. I came as soon as I heard. Doc you may proceed", we all looked back at the doctor amused.

"Bad news are, Mrs Corebeny is having seizures. And her ribs are swollen. And she has respiratory problems due to stress", we all looked shocked. We couldn't let a word out.

"What are the chances of her survival and overcoming this?", Revinna asked.

"As long as you let her rest enough she's gonna heal fast cause she's a strong woman", the doctor assured.

"And the good news?", I asked.

"We resuscitated her and she responded on the third time meaning that she's a fighter. Let her rest and can go home in a few days".

    "Thanks doctor ".
