Kid's Birthday Party (part 1)

i just got my first vote and it meant a lot for me! i've been using my free time to write the fic while studying at home. It's summer vacation and  I don't wanna go out :( japan is too hot right now. anyways if you are reading this, please do comment or vote. I really need a heads up to know I'm doing fine or great. (since i've been spending my all my time writing)

anywaaaaayyys i've been having a lot troubles lately because i write on my  iPhone and u know how that sucks :( i will try my best to write using my laptop cause i think its easier that way.

p.s the songs that i use will always be mentioned so you can listen to it while reading ;)

"Maka...." he whispered, slowly cutting the space between them. Maka immediately blushed and turned her head, avoiding kid's gaze. It drew tension between the two meisters who are now embarrassed with each other. Both blushing and hiding their faces.
The ride ended quickly though,
The memories were still intact into their brains. 'What was I doing?' Maka asked herself. 'He must've thought something!!!!' She cringed and blushed.
Meanwhile Kid was blushing and covering his face with his hands.

The man told them it's time to get out of and then they did as what they were told and walked their way out.
Both of them walked side by side and we're looking away. Kid kept his hands in his pocket but while they were walking his shoulder slightly brushed hers, making them look at each other.
Maka's eyes were shocked and her face was full red while Kid tried to cover his face with his right hand.

"Oh there they are sis!!!" Patty shouted while pointing at Maka and Kid.
"There you are guys, we've been looking for you. Where you been, kiddo?" Liz smirked
"Maka and I have been hanging out and trying rides." Kid said blankly , fully recovered.
Liz's smirk widen "is that so? Did you guys enjoy?"
"Yes." And slight shade of pink appeared on the reaper's cheek
"Makaaaaaa lets ride roller coaster!!!" Patty grabbed Maka by her arm, unable to escape.
"Sure Patty!!" Maka smiled at her

Meanwhile, Kid and Liz sat down to the nearest bench waiting for Maka and Patty.
"So you wanna tell me what happened between you two?" Liz asked
"Nothing happened" he blankly said
"Seriously??"
"I have to ask you something Liz"
"Earlier, when I was looking at her, something hurt in my chest. And it kept happening. I didn't know what it was and thought it was upsetting Maka because I was a bit too sad about it."
"Do you really wanna know what it is?"
"Of course Liz" the grim reaper replied

"Never mind I'll just spoil the fun. Find it yourself kiddo, I know you can." Liz crossed her arms
"What?" Kid shouted
"The answer is obvious. You can figure it out on your own. I don't want to be the person who tells you what you already know." Liz was right though, kid is smart enough to know these things.

Kid's thoughts were filled with different emotions. Was he really feeling something for the Meister? Has he feeling this way towards her since the beginning? When did it start? He was confused and he wanted answers.

"Heyaaaaaaa!! It was fuuuun!!"
Kid looked at Maka from the distance and his heart skipped a beat when he saw her smiling. He gulped and shook his head. He and Liz walked toward Maka and Patty.
"It was fuuuuun!!!" Patty shouted
"Ya I'd say the same." Maka said, smiling. Kid stared at her for a while then realized what he was doing. 'I need to stop doing that.' He thought to himself.
Kid cleared his throat, trying to escape the alien thoughts in his mind
"Well we shouldn't take a lot of time here, it's getting late and I know you girls need a lot of time to get dressed for the party later."
Liz looked at Maka and brushed her hair aside
"Oh yea Maka, do you want me to help you dress up and prepare? You're the birthday girl anyway so I think it's only reasonable." Maka blinked at what Liz had told her.
"You'd do that for me?" She asked with a hesitation. "Would that be okay with kiddo?"
"I don't mind actually." He said softly
"Okay then I'm going with you guys! I'll tell Soul first and get my stuff at our place then I'll go there at the mansion." Maka giggled with excitement.
