Character Name: Mariah - Of Hebrew origin, roughly meaning Teacher.

Requested By: Lilly_2004 - Enjoy! (I quite like the wonderful DJ as well!)

"You've got to come with us, Mariah! I'm sure Lucio is just dying to see you!" Lena said with a grin as she tugged on your arm. Hana was there as well, and she seemed to share the same enthusiasm as Lena. You groaned and put the bookmark in your book, swearing to yourself.
"Lena, I've got nothing to wear, I'm tired, I'm almost finished with this book, and I'm sure Lucio doesn't even care anyways!" You claimed with a frown on your face. Your stomach twisted at the thought of seeing him, dancing like he was born doing so. You didn't want to ever admit it, but you couldn't dance for your life. No matter how hard you tried. That's why you always avoided dance clubs and events.

"Don't you say that!" Lena retorted. "I have clothes you can wear! We're the same size, right?" You shrugged.
"I personally think I'm bigger than you, but," You groaned again. "Might as well try."

This made Lena's smile grow, and it also made her drag you at the speed of light to her room to grab something. Hana could barley keep up with Lena, and you personally thought that was because she spent half of her time with a mech.
Lena grabbed a cute black tank top and short shorts, then handed them to you. You gave them a glare, only because you were skeptical of short shorts.
"Lena, are you sure I'd look okay in this? I've never worn short shorts before...."
"Don't doubt yourself! I'm sure you'd look nice in them!" Hana said before Lena could speak. Your eyes widened and looked at her. She crossed her arms over her chest.
".....Thanks Hana." You said with a surprised tone.
"I'm just saying what everyone else is thinking!" She said with a wide smile.

You looked at the clothes Lena handed you, then sighed.
"I suppose it wouldn't hurt to try them on..."

-

"Well, look at you!" Lena said with a smile as you stepped out of her bathroom. You frowned, because you felt a bit exposed. Lena saw your expression, so her smile faded.
"What's wrong, love?" She asked with concern.
"I don't feel like myself in these clothes. I feel like you - or Hana, or heck, even Mei!" You exclaimed, your arms flailed up in the air. But you quickly brought them back down to hug yourself. Lena sighed.
"Gosh Mariah, I didn't know you were feeling this way.... Would you like to wear a sweatshirt over it?" She asked you with a tilt of the head. You brightly smiled as you wiped a small amount of tears from your eyes.
"That would be absolutely grand."

    -

"Now that's what I call a chill outfit!" Hana exclaimed as she watched you walk out of your own room. Lena smiled and nodded in agreement to Hana.

"I truly love the outfit! It definitely suits you!" Your dork smile didn't cease as you listened to the two women, and frankly, you didn't care. You were eager to go now, to finally see that amazing DJ. But, you wanted to make sure you got your point across about the two.

"Thanks guys, your compliments truly mean a lot to me." You said with a smile, rubbing your scalp. A habit that never faded. Lena sat up and so did Hana, encouraging you to step out of the door and go with them. You obliged and decided it would be best to go ahead with them -- to get out of your comfort zone.

-

"Hana, I actually didn't realize you knew how to drive!" You yelled with a smile. You were in the backseat of her car, hair flowing in the wind, smiling brightly as you felt the cool breeze. Hana couldn't help but to laugh.
"Ah well, the old man helped me out! He's seriously such a dad when it comes to me!"
"Are you talking about 76?!" You asked with a surprised tone, eyes wide and looking at Hana. She laughed again and so did Lena.
