[Jean P.O.V]
The sunlight shines brightly through my room windows. I didn’t put down my curtains last night making the sunlight shines right on my face. I could have sleep more if I put down the curtains. I feel my eyes swollen from the cry last night and the hangover from the alcohol last night as well. So many things happen in just one day. I glance at the clock and it shows 11.15am. That late! I jump off from my bed and got dizzy from the sudden movement. I take a long shower and puts on a plain tops along with a hot pants. I hurriedly grab my handbag, stuff all the necessities into my tote bag and hail a taxi. I miss my family so much thought I just met them last week. After what happen last night, I can’t wait to meet my loves one. I’m so scared I won’t be able to see them again, not able to say my goodbye. No, don’t think so negatively. Yeah, be glad you’re alive. Yes, and I can’t express how grateful I am toward Hyun Seong. Looking out the window, the sun is bright today, sky in baby blue and the fluffy clouds dancing around happily. I feel so much brighter now.
“Grandma!!!” I scream and jump on her hugging her tightly.
“Ohh, my sweet grandchild,” she smiles hugging me back patting lightly on my shoulder.
“Did you miss me grandma? I miss you a lot”
“Of course I did. Every second. You always cheer things up,” grandma says pinching my nose. I giggle.
“Welcome home Sin-Je. Let me take your bag,” Maria, one of my housekeepers greets me. I would address them as housekeeper rather than maid or servant. It sound rude and housekeeper is just another job. They deserve respect as well.
“Hello Maria. Thank you,” I smiles passing her my belongings. She walks in to the house.
“Grandma let me help you with the plants.” Grandma gladly agreed and I help her water her plants. All the flowers, fruits, trees in my house are very healthy and beautiful thanks to my grandma care. She loves her plants so much and she’s the best gardener I ever known. She knows every single thing on plants and gardening.
“Is everyone home?” I ask grandma while watering the plants.
“Yes, and Zhen Wei will be coming later”
“Really? I bet sis would be so happy.” My older sister, Su-Ra is 5 years older than me. Zhen Wei, her boyfriend is a year older than my sister who has been wooing my sister for quite some while before my sister finally acknowledge him. He would send flowers once in a while, buying her presents, sending her cards, everything just to get my sister heart.
“How about you? When would you bring your boyfriend back for me to see,” my grandma teases. I blush.
“Grandma!”
“Alright, you should go tell the others you’re home. Go on.” I run into my house to meet my younger brother first. He’s the youngest among the 4 siblings. I’m the second. He and me are of 6 years different.
“Hey Jie Li,” I poke him.
“Ugh, my annoying and noisy sister is here,” he says tapping my head.
