I sigh as I begin to explain what went on. "Me and Aya thought today was a good day to go on a date and so we went to watch Blue Space Moon, it has been out for a long time now so we knew it would be less busy then when it first came out."
"Exactly what me and Kyo thought." Lily adds and then gestures for me to continue.
"We were on the right side of the cinema, right near to the exit on that side. There are ten rows in that cinema and we were row nine, near the aisle. Luckily no one else was on our row." I continue.
"What, was it lucky because you could kiss and no one would see or something?" Ms. Raine asks and I see Aya's face go a rather dark shade of red.
"That's not important," I politely say keeping my cool (yes, that was the reason).
"Myself and Lily were on the left side near the front and also exited and entered using the left door it's no surprise we didn't cross paths." Ms. Raine then rolls her eyes. "Especially since somebody was that excited that she made us arrive a full half an hour before the trailers even started."
"I just wanted a good view is all," The brunette pouts. "that fact doesn't matter at the moment anyway."
"Y-you can carry on, A-Arena..." Aya says rather quietly and I nod.
"It had been raining on the way and so I brought my umbrella, then once we got to Wayway Cinema went to go and buy tickets and food. But we quite literally ran into a problem." Once I say this Lily looks at me rather puzzled and Ms. Raine well, wasn't showing any emotion at all.
"What sort of problem?" The Defence Attorney asks.
"Well due to the fact I was holding the umbrella I had a full hand and so could only carry some things with my other one." I begin to explain our miss fortune.
"A-and so I-I had to carry both of the popcorn boxes...!" Aya responds happily. "B-but then..."
"We hadn't even taken four steps away from the counter where we had gotten the food from and this person knocked Aya over and all the popcorn went everywhere." I say with a hint of annoyance in my voice. "She apologised though so it was alright."
Aya then places a hand in her hair and pulls out a piece of popcorn. "Although the m-man w...who worked at the Cinema and sorted o-out tickets and drink saw what happened."
"And said to go on ahead and he would bring us some more to us once the movie had started and the popcorn machine finished turning some more corn into popcorn. Which he did do so as soon as the film had begun." I finish explaining.
"But why exactly do they suspect you are the killer?" Lily asks me, cocking her head to the side.
"Well you see, the victim died from a stab wound to the back of the neck." Aya shudders as I say this. "Which was created by the sharp end of an umbrella, my umbrella. It... Has my finger prints on it."
"Oh," Lily pauses for a moment. "no need to worry we'll get you out of here in no time! Right, Kyo?"
"Yeah, sure what ever." She sounded less enthusiastic then I thought she would be.
"So the movie started at 08:05am and lasted an hour and five minutes meaning it ended at 09:10am." Lily says twirling a strand of her hair as she normally does whilst thinking. "Where was the victim when she was found dead?"
"Row ten, right side on the opposite end of the aisle. We, kinda found her body as we were leaving." Kyo and Lily both turn to look at each other.
"That's what the screaming was." Lily looks clearly annoyed. "We were near the entrance and heard screaming, this gentleman who worked at Wayway Cinema told us that some teenagers had gone to watch this scary movie and it was probably them, so we had no need to worry."
