I was currently hanging around at the cafeteria with my crew. Nothing 'exciting' had happened all day. No trouble, no fake chicks getting in my way...
Nothing.
Which was good, if you bare in mind the fact that I am tired of that shit.
"Yo, what happened?" Ryan punched my arm, standing up from his half broken chair.
The chairs in our cafeteria were, for no reason really, attached to the tables. Not only was it uncomfortable, but once a seat was broken, you couldn't just swap it for a new one. Most of the times -if we are not lucky enough to find a good table- we end up sitting on uncomfortable irons.
"Nothing," I said shrugging. "Oh, wait. I have a question for you," I stopped him before he could leave. "Do you know some girl called," I thought about it for a second. "Eh, Catherine Jones or something like that?"
He tapped his chin looking at the high ceiling as if he was thinking, a smirk making its way to his face.
"Why do you wanna know?" he asked stepping closer to me. His eyebrows were wiggling furiously, fact that made me annoyed.
"I'm just asking dude," I said pushing him away. "She's babysitting my sister."
"You mean you have a hot ass girl in your house every day?" Ryan nearly fell on the ground, after stumbling on Pete's foot.
"First of all, she is not at my house. My mum drives Elsa to hers every time she has to babysit," I informed him. "And second of all, I asked you a damn thing. Do you know her?" I said, almost losing my patience.
"Chill, man," he put his hands up in defence. "Yeah, she's in one of my classes. I think Maths? Science?" he scratched his head. "Not sure. She's kinda hot, though."
I nodded. Maybe I should give her a visit this afternoon. See why my sister is so thrilled about her.
"Are you going to Maya's party tonight?" Pete asked me out of the blue with his mouth full of pizza.
Gross.
Yes, I am a guy too, but I at least have manners. No wonder why girls call us pigs.
"I don't think so. I have to pick up my sister from her babysitter," I answered making Ryan's ears shot up from their little nap. He turned to me immediately having a stupid grin on his stupid face.
"Do you want company?" he asked, a bit too excited.
"Sure," I shrugged. It's gonna be fun messing up with her.

"Why aren't your brothers at home yet? It's almost five," Hayden asked me, turning off the TV and standing up from the couch.
"They went to a friend's house after school to study," I said rolling mt eyes at their awful lie. We all know they are just playing video games. Hayden nodded and walked towards the front door. "Where are you going?"
"Your little friend is coming soon and I'm not really into Barbies and makeup," he wrinkled his nose.
I rolled my eyes. "Jealous much?" I joked. "And where are you going then?"
"I'm going grocery shopping. We can't eat McDonald's forever," he shook his head at me, fake-disappointed.
"I can," I shouted, but he had already closed the door behind him.
After a few minutes Elsa arrived. As soon as she saw me, she jumped in my arms and gave me a kiss on the cheek. We quickly waved her mum goodbye and walked into the house.
"How are you today?" I asked Elsa smiling.
"I am great! Do you-do you know what is going to happen at-" she looked at her small hands. "-nine?" she asked me, raising nine of her fingers and wiggling them around.
"What is happening?" I asked confused, not really getting what she meant.
"My big brother is going to pick me up!" she cheered, jumping up and down and straight onto my sofa.
"Aw! How cute," I allowed a huge grin onto my face. "Do you love your brother?"
"Yes!" she squealed. "He is big and he sings me songs to sleep!"
Oh well, I need to stop my dirty mind...
"He seems really sweet," I laughed at her childness, feeling my cheeks heat up. "Now, are you hungry?" I smoothly changed the subject.
"Nah," she slightly shook her head. "I ate my granny's cookies in the car. Here," she took a plastic bag out of her little backpack and gave it to me.
"You saved a cookie for me?" I awed.
"Yes! We are besties! We share our food!" she skipped towards the kitchen, giggling.
Talk about best friend goals.
"Do you want to draw?" I picked her up and placed her on the table.
"Yes!" she agreed.
After drawing, playing with Elsa's Barbies and watching Disney Channel, Hayden made his entrance with my brothers following behind him.
"Did you pick them up?" I asked surprised, raising my eyebrows.
"Nah, I just met them outside," he shook his head. "Their friend's mum brought them," Hayden said sitting on the couch next to me.
"What do we have for dinner?" Max said grabbing the remote from me and changing the channel.
"Hey! We were watching that!" I shouted at him.
Sure, they are boys, but they can't just ignore our guest and me order around to get food.
"Give me that," I took the remote back and put Disney Channel on again. "Have you finished your homework?" I asked and they nodded. "Right. Go have a bath and I will cook something for dinner."
They left and Hayden looked at me with a stupid smirk dancing on his lips.
"I'm not bossy!" I pointed at him.
"I didn't say anything," he laughed his ass off.
"Right," I said again in the same tone. "Elsa," I started and she looked away from the TV.
"Yes?"
"I'm going to cook. Do you want to come help me?" I suggested and she nodded happily, climbing down the sofa.
"Coming?" I asked Hayden and he nodded too.
We made chicken with rice. Unfortunately, there wasn't anything safe enough for Elsa to do, but she did her best helping us pick out songs on Spotify and singing along.
"Food!" Jake cheered from the living room.
"It's ready. Come sit at the table with us," Hayden announced.
"But there is a match on. Why can't we eat in the living room?" Max whined.
"Because today we are eating like human beings. Not animals." I snapped.
"Can I be a puppy?" Elsa asked out of the blue, her lips full of sauce. "I love puppies!"
I laughed at her comment and wiped her face. Hayden chuckled and the boys sat with us and ate in silence like a happy family.
