Chapter 8

Chapter 8- Safe and Sound......or am I?

We were flying farther and farther away from the metal base. "Thanks for saving us, guys". "Your welcome". said jimmy. I then introduced lily to them and told her about them. "oh cool". she replied. "How did you know we were there"? i asked. Chaz and Jimmy looked at each other. "Sophie, there's something we have to tell you". "ok". i said suspicious. "Remember our mission we were doing"? "yeah"? "well, our mission was to spy on eggman and it turns out, scourge is working for him". I then wore an outrage face. "I should have known". "oh, i've heard of him". said lily. "he's bad news". "yeah, he is". I responded. "There's another thing". he mumbled. I then looked at him, focused. "Eggman is after you and three other people". I then looked at confused. "why"? i asked. "because......you are one of the 4 elements of power, the source on mobius". My jaw then dropped. "WHAT"! I yelled surprised. "yeah, there is 4 types of power". "water, earth, air, and fire". I then sat there quietly. "I guess i am the water element". i said. Lily didn't say anything. "wait, scourge is after all the people of the 4 elements"? "corect". chaz said. I then looked at lily and she looked down. "You are the fire element". "We are the source of Mobius". We then started getting closer to the ground and i saw sonic's mansion.               sonic's point of view: I couldn't think of what tot do or how to swave sophie. "come on sonic, think of something". said blaze. "your the great sonic the hedgehog and yet you can't come up with a plan"? yelled out knuckles. I then got mad. "HEY"! "i'm trying, ok"? "it's not easy". "I mean what do you expect"? "That something magical will happen outside that door"? I yelled. All of a sudden, we heard a helicoptor land in our yard. "Do you think.....". asked rouge. "I'm gonna go check it out". yelled tina running out the door. "TINA NO"! "It could be a trap"! yelled tails as everyone ran outside. (including me). Normal point of view: "here we are". said chaz. Suddenly, a herd of animals (aka, sonic and the gang) ran to the helicoptor. "SHADOW"! i yelled and jumped out and landed in his arms. He then twirled me around and kissed me passionately. "Thank god your safe". he responded and hugged me tight. I then walked to the helicoptor door "Lily, come meet everyone". i whsipered. "everyone, this is lily". Lily then came down the steps of the helicoptor, followed by chaz and jimmy. I introduced lily to everyone individually, except for sonic and shadow. "Lily, this is shadow, my boyfriend". "awwwww, that's so sweet". she replied. I then saw sonic backing up in the distance, blushing a pinkish, red. Lily then tapped me on the shoulder. "sophie"? "oh, uh sorry". I apoligized. "You have to meet sonic". "let me go get him". I then ran over to him, but he had his back turned and wasn't paying attention. "SONIC"! i yelled from behind and he jumped. "why so jumpy, sonic"? "huh"? "huh"? "why so jumpy"? i teased him and started to blush "no reason". i then crossed my arms "Are you sure"? he then nodded. "LIAR"! i yelled. He then shushed me. "ok,ok". "It is something". "you like lily, don't you"? He then looked away blushing. "How could you tell"? he asked. I then smirked "do we need to go back to <why you jumpy sonic> thing again"? he then shook his head. "come meet her". Sonic then gulped and walked with me to lily and shadow, (who were talking). "Lily, this is sonic". "nice to meet you sonic". She then held out her hand. "go on, shake her hand". i whispered in his ear. He started to sweat a little bit and his hand started to shake. "Are you okay"? lily asked. "fine". sonic said very shrieky and shadow started to laugh. ( i kept my laughs inside my mouth). He then shook her hand and she smiled. Sonic then started to blush and smiled awkwardly, still holding her hand. "sonic, it's ok, you can let go of her hand now". I whispered to him. He then released. "so uh, see you round". He then took off and lily looked confused. "what was that all about"? she asked. I then smiled. "oh he was just late for something". "late for what"? "running away". Shadow then started to laugh. Chaz then walked towards us. "shadow, chaz has something to tell you all". "what is it"? he asked. "lets round everybody up in the living room and tell them all together". We then headed inside and i saw amy glaring at lily. She then pushed her and went ahead of her ."whoops, sorry". she said real sweetly . Lily then looked at me as we saw her head inside. (this might turn out to be ugly). Me and lily then went inside. Everyone then gathered around in the living room. Chaz then stood up and started to speak. 5 minutes of talk later..... Everyone then started to stare at me and lily. "wow". "I'll never look at you the same again, sophie". said knuckles. "you won't look at her at all". snapped shadow. (why is he so angry all the time?) "so scourge is after the 4 elements of power/sources of mobius"? asked silver. Chaz then nodded. "well, that explains alot about sophie". said shadow. I then looked away slowly. "well, we have to protect sophie and lily at all costs". spoke up blaze. "agreed". everyone said. "so lily.....". started sonic. she then she then looked at him with her ruby red eyes and sonic started to shake a little. "you are welcome to stay here, i mean if you like". he then started to smirk nervously and had sweat drops on his head. "thank you sonic". she said reaching out and giving him a hug. Sonic started to smile and silver then pointed at lily from behind her and giving sonic a nudge. Sonic then glared at him. As soon as they stopped hugging, lily then headed up to the available room they've giving to her. i then saw amy wear a red face and a glare. She then went into the kitchen and started cooking. I then headed up stairs and went to my roon ,where someone put thier hand over my mouth and pushed me to the wall. "don't move"! whsipered the person. He then put a gun to my head as i screamed in his hand. He then tied me up and tied my mouth with more rope. Lily then came in and the person shot her in the head and she fell. "NOOOOO"! i yelled through the rope. (is she dead?) (oh no!) I then started to cry. the stranger then looked at me with disguist in his eyes. "pathetic". he said. I then glared at him. This was a dark brown hedgehog, with purple streaks at the tips of his quills and on his arms and legs. (like shadow). He had a darker voice than shadow and sounded very evil. He wore black and grey skating shoes and also wore a dark purple jacket. He had a red scar over his left eye, but our right. His eyes were black, with a purple outlining on it. Everything else looked like shadow ( he even had the same chest hair as he did). He then grabbed me and held me bridal style. I started kicking him, but he just smirked. "please, your only wasting energy". He then jumped out the window and started running in the forest. He then set me down and pulled out another gun. "you can't figure out how to get there so, lights out". he then shot me in the head and i collapsed to the ground performing my last and final scream.
