Vows?

I didn't know what possessed me to say it but the longer he stares at me the more I regret asking and the more I realize that I want it. I want him to vow to never leave me and to stand by my side forever. My wolf is still an alpha and I want, no I demand the loyalty that I'm giving him willingly.
He stands up and walks out the room leaving me hurt but understanding. I guess the whole Kîd thing was more serious to him then I thought.
To my surprise he walks back into the room two hours later while I decide to distract myself with paper work and comes around my desk to stand I front of me. I look at him sadly but try my best to smile so he knows that I still love him and don't hold his decision against him. He kisses my forehead and I stand up and hug him knowing this will probably be our last good bye. I rest my head against where my mark is kiss it before tightening my arms around him not ready to let go. I think of all the things he wants and remind myself it isn't something I can give him. I kiss him again and soak up as much of his smell I can. He slowly brings him arm up and separates us and my throat closes up. He takes a step back but instead of walking out the door he kneels in front of me and pulls a ring out his pocket,
"Amelia will you marry me?"

Alex POV
She expected me to leave. As I walked into the room with my mother ring in my hand she was preparing herself to say good bye. I could tell in the way she hugged me and the way she kissed my mark. She was getting ready to say good bye because she wanted me to have everything I ever wanted even if it was without her.

Getting the ring was easy. I called my mother and told her what was happening and she was sending the ring with one of the fastest warriors we had before we were even done talking. She told me to fix my mistakes and to make sure that my mate felt loved. Once the ring arrived I was walking back to her office to see her trying to put on a brave face. When she tried to smile for my benefit is when I knew that I wasn't even going to hesitate in asking her.
When she hugged me I had even more love and respect for her and I knew that she would always put my needs before her own and it was time I started doing the same. If my mate wanted it she would have it. If she wanted my pack she could have it. If she wanted kids by God she would have them. If she wanted my heart I would tear it out and lay it at her feet. There was no hesitation my loyalty was to my Luna and as soon as she married me she would have the title too.
"Are you sure?" She asks me.
"Melia did you not hear me? I asked if you wanted to get married. You know tie the knot, get hitched, put a ring on it. Baby I asked what would prove it to you and you said marriage. I'm proving it to you. I'm showing you that just like you are always so willing to put my needs first I'm going to do the same. You're my mate and you shouldn't even have to ask if I'm sure. You come before any and everyone. Now answer my question." I demand smiling.
"Of course I will marry you Alex."

The wedding was going to be small and cosy. We will say vows in front of the pack and be pronounced man and wife. She is sitting at her desk now righting her vows and she's never been happier. I was checking in on her threw the mind link while sitting in my office back in my territory. Being in each other's head was becoming a normal for us and it felt so natural.
"You better not be trying to steal my vows." She says in her head.
"I've had my vows written since the morning after I asked you."
"Hm I would think after the night we had you would be to tired to move."
"Oh yeah you definitely wore me out woman but in the best way."
"Oh I remember I'm still sore." She thinks smirking.
"Probably going again the next morning wasn't the best idea." I say thinking about the crazy hot sex that morning. We were both still high on the happiness the proposal brought us both.
"Hmm I seem to remember we both had an extremely good morning."
"It's always extremely good with you." I say. She begins to blush which makes me laugh. My beta and gamma look at me like I'm crazy and then it's her laughing in my head.
"You're busy I'll talk to you later alpha." She says smirking at the last part. My pants begin to feel tight and I glance down embarrassed at the hard on she game me from over 100miles away.
"Your whipped in the best of ways." My beta says laughing. I smile at him and we all look up to the knock on my door. It's my mom and dad.
"How you been boy?" My dad asks me. I see my mother glare at him and it makes me smile.
"My mates happy so I'm happy." I say smiling genuinely.
"He's whipped. Look at your son Emma he's whipped."
"Don't get loud with me Rico I'll have you on your knees begging for me to forgive you."
"Dammit women watch what you say." He says embarrassed.
"Don't make me spank you." She says smirking at him. It was hilarious but quickly becoming disturbing. My beta and gamma leave the room laughing and I turn to my parents.
"Chill out Ma."
"Son you don't know pleasure till you had your mate spanking you in just the right place." I feel my mate in my head and we both watch as my mother nods her head eagerly and tries to show me just where she likes to spank him. I cover my eyes and ears groaning in embarrassment.
"Sure you want to marry into this craziness?" I ask. My mate laughs and nods her head.
"It would be a dream come true." She says honestly. I get a big smug grin on my face and look back at my parents.
"Stop it your embarrassing me in front of my mate." They both look confused.
"She's not here is she." My mom says fixing her dress and patting her hair.
"She is seeing it all threw my eyes and she sadly just got a eyeful of you spanking the old alpha. And the old alpha getting spanked." I say laughing at my dad at the last part. They both look less then pleased.
