SAGE SANDERS HAS HAD to deal with the realization of how cruel the world was ever since she was neglected by her parents due to their hearts breaking over her sister's and their daughter's sudden disappearance, and the dead bodies that started to pile up day after day, and rotten corpses emerging; leaving traces of warm, crimson colored liquid and hearts breaking and loud cries and never ending grief behind, to remind the alive that a human is nothing more than a human. Yes, a man's life is deemed to come to an end somehow someday, but it's not supposed to end that way, not that gory, mysterious and awful way.
When being chased down by a supernatural creature in the middle of the night in a town where everything seemed calm and quite; her life was instantly put to danger, especially when a group of teenagers who somehow seemed to know what's going on, claimed for her to be something special, more like something up-normal, but she accused them of being out of their minds. She wasn't sure about what was real and what was an illusion: the fine line between reality and imagination had been crossed out so long ago. But what she is now aware of very well, is that Beacon Hills turned out to be one hell of a fucked up town, with monsters lurking around in the shadows, watching for their next and upcoming victims and detailing and plotting on how to take them down. And now she is very aware that no one is safe anymore.
