A steady stream of tears flew down Rosalie's face. Her entire body was either covered in blood or torn clothing, if not both. Her hands shook violently as she set up the live video stream to the USS Enterprise. She was nearly certain that it would never reach them, but at least she could die at that point knowing that somebody knew what happened to her. Rosalie was exhausted and in immense pain. The chains that were bolted into her back hung heavily behind her.
The small beep was the only noise, other than Rosalie's sobbing, that could be heard. The guards had yet to figure out that she was within this room, and she didn't blame them; what lunatic would lock themselves in a room instead of finding a ship to get themselves out of there?
"I guess I really screwed up, didn't I?" Rosalie tried to hold back her tears, nearly succeeding, but failing once she laughed at her own words. She sniffled and wiped away any remaining tears after she managed to pull herself together.
"This probably won't reach anyone, but I think it's the thought that counts," Rosalie continued her tear stopped words,"I guess my life is just one big pile of shit..
"I-I can't take it any longer; they are all dead. Or, at least that's what Dr. Muta told me. Coming from him, it is probably not true, but then again, what does he have to gain by lying to me?"
Rosalie readjusted her sitting position so she was reliant on one wall that the desk was connected to. The video camera put her at an angel that some might say was 'hero movie' worthy; it was as though it had come to that scene where the hero was about to set off a bomb that would kill all the bad guys, leaving the world to be full of rainbows and sunshine once more.
However, this was no hero movie, and Rosalie knew that no matter what she did, it did nothing to bring any form of happiness. A series of hits and yells coming from behind the only metal door in the room brought Rosalie back to reality.
"See, they're already here. In no time they will have made it through that door and who knows what's next. My death? Unlikely. Torture and more tests? Seems a lot more likely...
"I just want everyone on the Enterprise to understand that this is not their fault. I am the stupid person who was blind enough to even consider that my people were still here and thought I was useful, but I'm not.
"Thank you Captain Kirk for being an awesome captain and showing me that some risks are worth taking and thank you Dr. Leroy, for helping me hold on to your advice of how to stay alive.
"I bet this won't even get to you guys and that this thing is pointless. It won't matter though, because nobody cares for some pitiful person such as myself."
The voices from the other side of the door began to fade away slowly as Rosalie slowly began to fade out of unconsciousness.
"Goodbye," she muttered under her breath as everything in the room went to a pitch black.
If this was death, Rosalie could not help but feel like it was some sort of hell and that she would soon wake up in her bed back on Merylia. But even Rosalie knew that would never happen and that this situation was very, very real.

This is the prologue for a Star Trek Fanfic!!! I'm so excited for it!!!I have recently been really obsessed with this fandom and have finally decided(a bold choice might I add) to put up this fanfic.
I will admit that I have already made the plot for the sequel and book four(for some reason I wrote the fourth book first...I'm so weird); so you can all anticipate more books if ya like this one!
I will say that this book follows Rosalie's path and what leads up to her meeting a certain someone...but it still will incorporate the Enterprise crew as you can see from the prologue!
I will say that this series is more like
What Not To Do With A Psychopath(not mine, but is available on Wattpad...I will see if I can find the author later to put in, but for now I'll just have the title), instead of a traditional book that follows the OC on the Enterprise and goes exactly by the movies. This will go along the timeline of the five-year mission, but won't be involved in the movies(you will see why in book two...)Anyways...I'm rambling!
Thanks guys,
Comments, Likes, and Such Are Greatly Appreciated!
My real motivation for continuing to update is your support, so that is greatly appreciated!
(Sorry for any errors! As it says at the top, it's only half edited...)
