Every case on the Hotspot Board requires a creature or two to be a real case. If you have the time to roleplay but someone has taken a case, please jump in as the creature causing it!

If you are a member of the roleplay, you will be sometimes required to roleplay as a creature. If you're not busy, don't worry about it =)

THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND

Here some things to consider while roleplaying as a Creature:

Accuracy: Most cases that appear on the Hotspot Board will be purposefully vague, and just say that there were a few disappearances, or a death. This means that you can choose to be almost any type of supernatural creature causing it, so its more randomized and realistic. Keep in character please! Occasionally, kill some people, do something unexpected, team up with another monster. Make it a challenge for the Hunter(s). Just please remember to maintain accuracy: a vampire does not give heart attacks, a ghost does not rip people apart. Check the Grimoire for info on your Creature to play it accurately.

Spicy, Spicy: are the events becoming predictable? Is it starting to fall into a pattern of: drive to town, investigate, its a ghoul, kill it, leave. A lot of creatures are predictable in what they do. So to make it fun for the hunters, don't be predictable! Spice it up! Maybe you're a witch that kills those you despise? Make it look like a vampire by draining a few bodies of blood and leaving them for the Hunter(s) to find. Never reveal what creature you are in the first phase or so of roleplaying, keep them on their toes.

History: Remember how I said that sometimes the event would be based on real life occurrences? Well if you research a bit, maybe you could find that there have been ghost sightings in real life in that area, or rumours of another creature. You can then roleplay as that creature so it seems even more realistic.

Basically, just keep in character of your creature, and make it exciting, or research the lore. Heck, maybe the Hunter(s) doesn't even manage to kill you because you're so good at tricking them, or you are too strong for them. (No overpowered creatures please). It just means that the case is left unfinished and you have succeeded for the Creature Team
