CHAPTER 1 introducing myself
At last my final year of primary school at Meensat primary has arrived year 6. I simply can’t wait to finish primary to get away from these bullies in my school, I – “jasmine”. I look up to see who interrupted my thinking I see my mum looking at me expectantly I realise she has been waiting for me to pack my lunch get dressed and go to school.
Oh sorry, I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Jasmine. I live with my Mum and my two sisters Gina who is 14 and Dianna who has just turned 17 a few days ago. I also live with my 2 year old irritating sister Tina. You may have noticed that I haven’t mentioned my dad that’s because mum and dad are divorced so he went to start a new family with a woman and totally forgot about us!
Today is the first day for me in year six at Meensat primary school. I packed my lunch and got dressed to go to school. I have to walk to school because my mum doesn’t have her license and whenever I and my sisters try to encourage her. She refuses to get her license.
I arrive at school and go to my class “why so late Jasmine” Mrs Macintosh says, and everybody starts laughing. I was wondering why they were all laughing “go get your text books and stationery” said Mrs Macintosh. “Ok Mrs Macintosh .So I sat down next to this tall looking girl as soon as I sat down she moved seats “Who was the first prime minister of Australia? Mrs McIntosh asked the class, everybody put their hand up except me “Jasmine this question is for you who is the first primeinister of Australia? I had no idea what the answer was Mrs Macintosh was waiting for my answer “Sorry Mrs Macintosh I do not know what the answer is “I felt so embarrassed! And ashamed of me once again everybody starts laughing at me.
FINALY I arrived home that felt like a year of walking “how was the first day of school’ mum asked “great” I said with sarcasm and I went straight to my room.
Chapter 2 the weekend
“Mum what are we doing 'this weekend” I asked mum, “umm aunt Becker is coming over and she’s bringing Alice to, they’re coming for dinner”
“YAY”I replied,
Ok so Alice is my cousin and she’s really close to me. Alice is the only person who I can express my feelings to and tell her what’s going on at school.
So Aunt Becker’s family and my family are on the dinner table. It’s always awkward silence on the dinner table all I can hear is forks and knives clashing together.
So I and Alice have finished dinner so I take her to my room and we sit and talk
“So how’s year six at Meensat primary”
“As bad as hell especially with the whole group of those bullies in my class”!
“Well guess what Alice I got some good news for you……so I decided that I’m going to maintain my last year of primary at Meensat primary”
“You’re joking right”
“No I’m serious I am I’m moving schools
