My last class was a drag it was an hour and thirty minutes long. Who in the hell stays in one class for that long without any breaks? I mean, I may be a good student with a 3.6 GPA average but even I don't want to be in class that damn long. So after my last class I decided to head over to the library. I had the need to read me some mangas. I need to catch up on one piece since I was so focused on novels such as the house of night series.

I headed to the third floor toward the room of books walking toward the gum chewing librarian picking her nails. I scrunched up my nose. I hated the sound of gum chewing. It irritates me so much to hear her popping and smacking  made me want to grab her chin and snatch that damn gum out of her mouth. I stopped right infront of her waving my hand to get her attention.

"Can I help you?" She said sounding as if she was bored and a little bit rude.

"Uh.. Yeah you know where the mangas are?" She lifted a brow at me.

"The what?" The woman looked confused. Her brow lifted under her glasses.

I sighed. "Japanese comic books?"

"You know..You can log into one of the computers and look it up right?" She said popping her gum make be cringe. "Just show me your school  ID."

I reached into my bag pulling out my wallet then gave her my ID. she took it, typing onto the computer. I don't know which one was more annoying. Her chewing, popping and smacking on that gum or her nails taping on the keyboard. She then handed me a piece of paper with a username and password on it before handing me back my ID.

"That'll do. Now go to the computer behind you and type in whatever book or genre you are looking for. It should bring up the section and floor you need to go to." I nodded and said my thanks before taking the pa
per turning around toward the computer. I logged in punching in the keys for the name of genre and book that I was looking for.

Heading up to the second floor of the library checking out the piece of paper I written the information on. I looked up and about checking to see where was the aisle, finding it I scanned through the rows and rows of mangas and comic books. I was excited actually. Squealing like a fan girl seeing all of my favorite books such as Fullmetal Alchemist and Bleach. I looked further on before stop at the supernatural novel section. I will tell the truth, I am a book worm. I read nothing but books,  novels, novellas and comics everyday during my free spare time. I don't really go out much since the streets are no longer safe. I use to be a lot active, always going outside riding my bike to Irvington park then take a break to draw a little sketch in my book.

But ever since we moved going out side seem dangerous now. Everyday there is something new such as a girl found in a park murdered with her breasts cut off or that some little boy got caught in a shoot out and killed. People get robbed in day light now so going out taking my little strolls to the park ain't gonna do. So i stuffed my face in books and in my good old sketch book.

Scanning through the book shelves I found myself coming across a old book. It was made with leather with a string attached. There was a carved symbol on the cover, similar to a pentagram but there was a word, "Jinn" in the center of the symbol. Curiosity takes over as I flipped open the old book, scanning through the pages. Though the cover was very old but also the pages were written in ink. "Wow..." I said to myself as I read bits and pieces of sections in the book. I came across a section stating that Djinns  or Jinns are humanoid creatures with tattooed skin that prefer to live in large ruins with a lot of places to hide. They feed on human blood and can poison their victims with a touch. The poison can be used either to kill their victims quickly, or to leave victims in a coma-like state while the djinn feeds on their blood over a long period of time. Djinn are depicted in the as beings with powers. Contemporary lore depicts them as genies and are able to read a person's mind to learn their deepest desires; however, the djinn do not truly grant wishes like the genies of lore. Instead, using their poison, the Djinn causes hallucinations so powerful that the immobilized victim thinks he or she is actually living in the reality the Djinn implanted.
