Ťhe Štart

Jasmine's POV

The wind blows softly. Walking along the street, watching as people hurry. Some were even running to catch the last trip going to their homes. With tears falling in my eyes and a heavy heart. I unconsciously cross the street not minding the cars and the shout of people. Staring blankly ahead.

All I could think about was him. The memories played in my mind. Continously taunting me. He was holding her tightly in his arms.

"Why? Where did I go wrong?"

Is it possible to hate yourself more than anything in this world?

[Flashback an hour ago]

"What have you done?" He shouted at me while holding her.

"L, I - I didn't do anything. I was jus..."
I couldn't stop my voice from shaking.

In a very angry voice and cold stare, he answered me back.
"SHUT UP!!! Stop lying and just f#cking leave!!!"

The woman cried loudly and shaking. Clutching him tightly. He whispered something into her ear. Hugging that woman tightly, in a very protective manner.

While I, on the other hand was just standing infront of them, staring at them helplessly. I am the one in pain here. Why can't he see it.

"L, please listen to me." I was trying to reach him with my hands but he violently slapped it.

"Leave!!! NOW!!! Before I do something I won't even regret. Get out Jaz!!!"

I can not believe he actually said those words to me. His eyes who once looked at me with love and adoration is now staring back angrily at me.

As my tears fall, I turned my back to them and slowly walked out the door.

[Present]

Remembering what happened literally tears my heart in pieces. I can't breath properly and never caring what the people around me were shouting.

Then, as if time stood still. I felt like my body was thrown out of no where.

"Oh my god!!! Iyong babae!!!"

I heard the distinct voices and rush steps of people.

My whole body felt numb. I felt numb.

"Peace..."

That was my last thought before slowly closing my eyes.
