Chapter 27

Espi's POV:

I stood there and continued to dance while Jinxx and Frank were acting like small children and Veronica, Gerard, and Andy argued. After about 10 minutes of this, my arms and legs got tired so I left the area and walked onto the bus. I found the fridge and opened a beer while sitting on my bed. I felt happy, but yet I had such a bad feeling about all of this...like something is going to go terribly wrong...being alone made me start to think. What happens AFTER Warped..? Veronica and I have to go back home...but Gerard and Andy probably won't be able to come with us...their bands are more important....they're just going to leave us like they did before...

I felt a hot tear stream down my face with the thought of losing Andy. I heard someone call my name but I didn't move. It was Andy. He walked to the back of the bus and found my sitting on my bed in tears. He didn't ask what was wrong. He just sat next to me and held me while I started to cry. He moved me so I was sitting on his lap and he rocked me back and forth, just like a father would do to his small child. He whispered small things in me ear like "Everything will be ok" and "I love you" and the one that I knew was a lie: "I'm never leaving you again."

Veronica must have sensed that something was wrong because shortly after, she came running into the room. She looked pissed off, but Gerard managed to calm her down.

Veronica: "What the matter Espi..?"

Me: "W-what's g-gonna h-happen a-after w-warped...?"

The room went silent. No one spoke a word, but you could feel that they were thinking.

Andy: "You girls would come on tour with us."

Gerard: "Yeah!"

Me: "That wouldn't work..."

Veronica: "Why not?"

Me: "W-we h-have j-jobs a-and a h-house a-and b-bills t-to p-pay. W-we c-can't j-just l-leave e-everyone..."

Veronica: "True....well...I have an idea."

Andy: "And that is..?"

Veronica: "Warped doesn't end for a month. Let's just act like we're never going to spilt and deal with the spit when the time comes. We need to enjoy the time we have together and not be worried about the future."

Andy: "That's a great idea!"

Gerard: "Great thinking babe. Espi...I know you worry about everything. But can you give her idea a try...?"

Me: "I-i'll t-try i-it..."

Andy squeezed me tight and kisses my cheek. I giggled slightly and then made my way off of him. But the thought was still haunting me...
