BRRRRINGGGG BRRRRRINGGG
I groan and roll over and smack my alarm clock off. 7am already? I jump out of bed straight away, got to look great for my first day back right?
I grab my iphone off my bed side table and check my messages.
2 NEW MESSAGES.
TO: DAISY
FROM: RAE
HEY CHICA! I'LL BE AT YOUR HOUSE FOR 8AM FOR SCHOOL, SEE YOU THEN X X
TO:DAISY
FROM:JAY
GET YOUR ASS OUT OF BED IF YOU WANT ME TO DRIVE YOU TO SCHOOL
oh what a delight my older brother is.
I walk into my en suite bathroom and throw my pajamas into the wash basket. When my mom and dad got divorced I got this room as a sort of guilt trip present. it's decorated exactly to my taste with rose gold taps and a vintage bubble bath as well as a shower with jets.
I hop into the shower and clean myself with my lemon scented shower gel. my hair was washed last night and I plaited it too.
I go over to my dresser and admire my pre-selected outfit. Pale blue high waisted skinny jeans with a floral crop top and an oversized cream cardigan. I paired it with my nike airs and my beloved Michael Kors cream handbag.
Perfect choice. I put on my clothes and admire myself in the full length mirror. damn, I did good.
I walk over to my dressing table and sit at the stool. I undo my plait so my hair tumbles down into a glossy blonde waterfall. I apply light makeup with lots of mascara for my signature long lashes. I select a baby pink lipstick and throw it into my bag to re-apply later. I throw in my cell phone and house keys too, and go downstairs.
"Hello sweetie," My mom says as I walk in to the kitchen. She's made my favourite breakfast especially- fresh fruit and waffles.
I walk over and kiss her on the cheek and take my breakfast.
"remember I won't be here when you get home, I'm going to Aunt Lilith's for the week and I'll be back next Monday" Mom tells me for the gazillionth time.
"okay I remember," I reply.
"you'll be okay wont you baby?" she asks looking at me, her big brown eyes wide with concern.
You can't help noticing how beautiful my mom is. She has long hair like me but hers is a dark chocolate brown to match her eyes. She has a figure to die for too, she does pilates every other day.
"I'll be fine mom, Jays here anyway." I reply.
As if on cue my big brother saunters in wearing his signature outfit(white tshirt with ripped jeans and a leather jacket) and lopsided grin. he's popular with the girls at my school too.
"ready to go then little sis?" he asks ruffling my hair.
I smooth it back into place and he laughs.
"yeah but we need to wait for-"
DINGGDONGGGGG
"never mind"
I run to the door to find Rae, looking gorgeous as ever. Her sleek black hair is tied into a messy ponytail, and she has effortlessly thrown on black skinny jeans and an oversized pastel blue jumper and managed to look perfect.
I pull her into a giant hug.
"Damnnnn girl you lookin' fineee" I say in our stupid ott accent.
"Mhmmm you too gurl!" she replies laughing.
"ready to go?" Jay asks, after pulling Rae in for a quick hug. It doesn't bother me since they may as well be related.
"Yeah!" I laugh linking my arm through Rae's and hopping in to my brothers SUV.
