Little Drabble about the three knowing the others are playing their alliance like a game. Minor spoilers for chapter 45. This was one of the theories discussed with fyodorscenarios.
Francis, Fyodor, and Agatha all knew they were trying to play one another. It didn't take a genius to know these three, proud leaders of their own group, had no interest in working together to the end. No, they all just supplied each other with what they needed.
Francis was able to get the intel he needed to make Zelda happy, Fyodor had a way to try and get rid of the biggest issues in Yokohoma, and Agatha... Well, no one knew what exactly the powerful dame was getting out of it. Power? Men to do the dirty work?
Nevertheless, they all knew the others were trying to play them, that it was a game. Even so, with such a game it all came down to one thing, who would win?
Francis had forgotten in the heat of battle, in the hope of helping Zelda, to keep up the game and had temporarily been taken out by Fyodor. Agatha knew of this, even it Fyodor hadn't told her, she knew.
She also knew when Fyodor was captured (she was sure it was all on purpose, what a sneaky little man). She knew when he killed Ace (or, more accurately, tricked Ace into killing himself), when he burned down the ship, and when he got the Mafia information... She found him being so far ahead to be thrilling.
Francis had bounced back, too, despite Fyodor's attempts to off him. Looked like he wasn't playing the same way as before, either. How smart of him to find a system to look for the book with. Avoiding direct confrontation, was he?
Agatha, however, was still waiting. Waiting until both men truly failed for her to be able to make her move. When all the dirty work had been done...she'd stroll right in and reap the rewards. Too bad for the men, no matter how smart they were, Agatha was sure to keep herself quiet, off the radar.
There was still a chance of her being found out, always a chance, but... Well, once again, it just made the entire thing all the more thrilling.
