It was gonna happen eventually so I better start this thing off with a rant.
Back to school ads. Lovely right? Everyone is so happy and cheerful and ready for the new year right?
WRONG!
I swear if one more person asks,"Aren't you so exited for school?", I'm going to slap the smile off their smug face! No I am not excited for school. (Well a little, because of my people.) You know why? I can see the future.
You know what I'm talking about. Yes we are excited to see our friends and have experiences, but there are consequences. Remember all those projects we had to do last year? x10 more and less time to finish. Remember those tests? Worse! Remember that God-awful math? Ewww! So much grosser! Remember sleeping in all summer? Say goodbye!
How do you people sleep at night knowing that all of this stress is coming. The people who make these ads are sooo unrealistic. No teen would be happy to carry their book bag around with them. Do you know how heavy it is? Especially on the first day with all the stuff you hardly ever use. Parents buy it anyway though and it cost a fortune. Then you and your parents are crying.
So yes, be happy. Soon it will be taken away from you.
