You see her smile and laugh
You hear her jokes and sarcasm
But can you tell its fake?
Can you see past the charade?
You see her as beautiful. You think she's perfect
But do you know what she thinks of herself? Know that she thinks shes worthless?
She has the perfect life. The perfect family thats what you believe.
But can you see through the closed doors? Can you hear the fights?
You think shes happy. No worries at all.
But your wrong.
Cause your not there when the tears cant stop, when shes holding her breath hoping it will stop.
Your not there when shes told its her fault, when the screaming seems like it will never stop.
Your not in her head when shes tells herself shes ugly, that you'll leave just like everyone else.
You cant tell that her smiling and laughing is to stop herself from breaking down, that the jokes and sarcasm are just a defence.
You'll never know that she wants to kill herself.
Cause you don't know her.
And you never did.
