Shawn's POV

I was stretched out on my pool chair as the sun shined above me, my skin faintly sparkling as I rolled my neck. Vic was in the pool playing chicken with his brother and best friends, Ronnie and Jacky were discussing their new album and their girlfriends were dancing around the bar as music played around us. My sunglasses reflected the sun and clouds as a small smile crossed my lips. After the shitty first 12 years of my life, things were finally going my way. As I inhaled deeply, my phone was jutted into my face, the name reading Uncle Killer Blonde. Pushing my glasses to the top of my head, I looked at Candy with annoyance as she shuffles in her feet.

"It's your Uncle....Cauis? He said he wanted to talk to you." Candy said as I took the phone from her and she walked back to the bar.

"Uncle! How nice to hear from you. I shall fire up the trumpets." I said as I sat up.

"Ha ha ha. So nice to know your  sarcasm is still in tact. Now, when is your tour supposed to take place in Forks or Seattle?" Cauis asked as I clicked my tongue.

"So, you actually listen to my music huh?" I teased as he sighed.

"When?" He asked again.

"They are the last two dates then I'm on a well deserved break." I said.

"We shall be in Forks around that time. I look forward to seeing you there and your performances." He said before he hung up.

I looked at my phone and scoffed as I sat my phone onto the table next to me, before leaning back in my chair and sighing. My eyes drifted to the picture of Pierce the Veil dressed as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and me as a Power Ranger, stared at me and I chuckled a bit. As I pulled my shades back on my face and stretched out again, the sun's heat and light was blocked as I felt my lips tilt downwards into a frown. His scent hit me and made me smile, even though he mainly smelled like chlorine.

"Victor Vincent Fuentes. If you want to keep your hair long and brown, I'd suggest moving." I said as he chuckled and I looked at him.

His brown hair was sticking to him as his hazel eyes were sparking in mischief. Vic's tan skin was covered in water and small droplets glided down each muscle. A small smile crossed my lips as he flashed his brilliant smile at me.

"I'm not going anywhere.....but you missy are going....into....the....pool!" Vic yelled as he grabbed me and threw me over his shoulder.

A scream left my mouth as he ran to the pool and jumped, submerging both of us. As I opened my eyes, I pulled Vic into a kiss and his hazel eyes flashed a blood red as I giggled, swimming back to the surface.

"Hey wolf man! I could use a hand here!" I yelled as I held my hand out to Ronnie.

Let me explain a few things. Vic, Mike, Tony and Jamie are demons. Ronnie is a shape shifter, he can do anything but prefers to be a wolf. Jacky is a stage 2 vampire. Allow me to explain deeper. The stage that is my family is stage 3. They can't be hurt by anything but fire and sparkle in the sunlight. They are virtually indestructible and have very sharp teeth. Their eyes also change color. Red if you drink human blood, gold if it's animal blood and black if they're hungry. Plus no matter what, they are always cold. Stage 2 are the ones that you have to cut their heads off and they can walk into the sunlight by use of a magic item that protects them, making them appear to be normal humans. Dead man's blood, makes them weak, it's kinda like a hang over. They also don't have fangs, but an extra row of razor sharp teeth. Their eyes are the same color as before they changed. They can eat normal food and sleep, but it's best for them to drink blood. Stage 1 vampires are the weakest ones. They can't enter sunlight, even with the help of a magic charm, if that happens they burn and turn up ash. Dead man's blood can kill them and they end up turning into skeletons that cough up blood. To kill them you either put them in sunlight or use a wooden stake. All in all, they are very weak and are very few in number.
