She watches over her little sister at night. She seeks my help when her chest is tight. She lives in the middle of chaos, somewhere no likes to live...but somewhere everyone needs to live.

How did she end up like this? Well, let's go back to when she, Nindi, was 4 years old. Nindi lived in a mansion, with a maid that only worked on friday's, and all was well. She had a older brother, Joe, that was 15 years at the time. She would hardly see her parents, they were at work all day (and sometimes even at night). So it was just her and Joe (who loved her very much). 2 years later her mother fell pregnant with a baby girl. A year after that Joe left for collage...the thing is, even though Joe loves his two little sisters, he would always say how he wanted to go to college then start a career, in photography, right after that. 5 years went by and Nindi was now 12 years old (Joe didn't show up in that time but he was now 24) and her dearest little sister, Jessie, was 6 years.

Today was Nindi's 13th birthday, it was a thursday so of course Nindi's parents were at work. Jessie was planning a big surprise for Nindi over the last three weeks...(Jessie used Nindi's phone, when ever she went to the bathroom, so she could contact her older brother Joe, which was hard because 80% of the time Joe was busy, but Jessie got it right to get him to send Nindi 'the nicest necklace he could find' then she deleted all the evidence). This morning Jessie woke up super early, checked if her older sister was still sleeping, then quickly rushed downstairs to get her present and the card she made for her...

At 8:00 AM Jessie switched off the TV and because she did know how to make breakfast, she decided to pick the biggest yellow daisy and poured a glass of Nindi's favorite red berry juice

At 8:00 AM Jessie switched off the TV and because she did know how to make breakfast, she decided to pick the biggest yellow daisy and poured a glass of Nindi's favorite red berry juice. Then walked upstairs to Nindi's room, there she found her big sis lying in bed on her phone.

"Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to you!..." Jessie started as she walked in to the room. Nindi looked up at her sister and immediately sat up and locked her phone. "Your so sweet!" She said with a smile on her face while taking the the flower and juice. "Come, come! Drink up, drink up!" Jessie said excitedly jumping up and down in front of her. "Okay! Okay! Calm down!" Nindi said then took a big sip of her juice and placed her glass and flower on her bedside table.

Jessie grabbed her sister's hand and lead her all the way downstairs. "Surprise!" Jessie shouted as they got to where the present was. Nindi gave her sister a big hug and picked up the card and opened it.

'Dear: Nindi,

Thank you for being the bestest big sistir and 4 aways being there 4 me!
PS: Joe says happy birthday and he bought the gift!

From,
Joe and Jessie'

Nindi closed the card and wiped the tears out her eyes so her little sister wouldn't see them (Nindi hadn't seen her big brother for 5 years). "Thank you!" She said and gave her little sister another big hug.

"Now it's time for your present!" Jessie said as she grabbed the present and put it in her big sister's hands. Nindi was about to open her present, when suddently the door rang. "Who's that?" Jessie asked. "I don't know?" At the back of Nindi's mind she was hoping it would be her parents. She walked to the door, unlocked it and slowly opened it. She frowed and made sure her little sister was behind her when she saw a man standing looking out on to the road, Nindi asked the strange man. "Can I help you?" The man turned around and smiled. There was just one thing that went through her hand when she saw the strangers face 'Joe!'

She just brust in to tears and jumped on him, causing him to catch her. "I love you so so much!" She said with her face in his neck. "I love you too!" Joe said, he was just glad to have her back in his arms again. Jessie was only 1 years old when Joe left, so Joe was still a strange man to her...she new she could trust him because her sister trusts him, but she was to shy to say anything. Joe slowly put Nindi down, still hugging her, she just put her head on his chest and looked down at Jessie's confused face. So Nindi broke away from the hug and walked toJessie's side.

"This...this is your older brother Joe." As soon as she said that Jessie had a big smile on her face and waved... Joe waved back and was about to say something but Jessie ran away. "Jessie!" Nindi shouted after her then turned back to her brother and said.

"She's gone upstairs." Joe just chuckled. "Do you wanna come in?" She offered. "No I just wanna stand here!" Joe answered with a big smile on his face. "Just come in!" Nindi said holding the doorknob. Joe quickly walked inside as she closed the door. The two of them made some coffee and sat on the couch together. After 10 minutes went by. They were starting to think Jessie might of been scared of Joe or something. "I'll go check on her." Nindi got up and started up the stairs. "Jessie?!" She called out. Half way up the stairs she saw her little sister come round the corner with a paper in her hands, she shot past her and down the stairs. Once Nindi had sat down Jessie gave Nindi her present and gave Joe a card. "What's this?" He asked. "I made it for you and all your other birthdays!" Joe smiled then said, "Thank you! Now let's what's inside this beautiful card!" Jessie giggled and sat next to him. He looked at her then quickly glanced at Nindi with a loving look on his face. Then he opened the card...
