[Angst] - Kuroo Tetsurou

So this is a continuation of [Life after Marriage] - Kuroo Tetsurou. But yes, this can be read individually! So if you've watched Descendants of the Sun ((Which I'm sure some of you do!)) the story idea is the similar but it is not entirely a spoiler for the movie so fret not! ((: Anyways, enjoyy~! Btw, there's no particular reason why I thought of this, I mean I'm feeling angsty today for weird reasons.

This time, it was inevitable. A massive earthquake has struck the borders of (Random country name) and being part of the medics in the army, I was assigned to supervise and provide aid for the casualties. 

'I cannot shun my responsibilities just for my selfish desires. People need me.' I kept trying to console myself as my husband and I drove in silence towards the airport where my fate waits for me. "Promise me you'll come back alright?" He tried to smile but I could tell by the way his grip was tight around the steering wheel and the trembling in his voice that he was holding back. "Of course I will. This is the first time I've seen you so shaken."

"(Name)! This is not a big joke. I really have a bad feeling about this. Please stay with me here..." He begged, tears already starting the flow down. No matter how much it pains me, I cannot turn a blind eye on what is happening. I took an oath. "Tetsurou, I love you..." Giving him the last hug, I turned my back and joined the military team in lining up and preparing myself for the worst. "I love you too, (Name)!" He shouted, though it came out as a croak due to his tears.

"(Name)! There's an emergency! Someone is stuck in the building and I can't get him out!" One of my team members pleaded through the system while I was taking a quick break from the countless of casualties. "Alright, I'll go." Gathering up the ropes and necessary gears, I made my way to the site as fast as I could. "Stay put alright? Everything will be okay!" I assured the casualty as I maneuvered my way around the tight openings. 

It took me awhile but I finally got to my destination, the person had a bad fracture on the leg and seemed to have difficulty in moving. "The ground is shaking..." He/She warned, gripping onto my hands tightly while I tried to numb the pain of the fracture. "Don't worry. Everything will be alright." I assured, giving the best smile I could foster despite the fear that was slowly rising in me. 

"(Name), you can't possibly carry the casualty up by yourself. I'll help you." At that, I hoisted the casualty up to my colleague and all of a sudden, the ground shook furiously. 'Crap.' I thought, as more debris fell around me. "Go! Tell Tetsurou that I love him and hope that we can be wedded in my next life!" At that, the ground beneath me collapsed and sealed my death warrant.

"(Name)!! Please come back..." Kuroo's tears stained his wife's pale face that was filled with scars. "Shit, I love you... I love you so much." He hugged, not wanting to let go neither accept the fact that he just lost his spouse. "Wait for me... I'll meet with you soon..." With that, Kuroo took a scissor lying by the side of the bed and stabbed himself right in the gut. "(Name)..." 

With that, lifeless spouse laid side by side on the bed, upholding the vow of, 'Til death do us apart'.
