Narrator's POV

The winds blew the crisp autumn leaves to the north. As the sun rose, dawn approached. The birds began to sing their songs of the new day that has come. As all of the animals awoke and began to hunt for food, so did a young woman.

She entered the lively forest in a plain (f/c) dress covered by a black, hooded cloak. She firmly held a mahogany colored bow in her dominant hand. Once she made it deep enough in the forest she climbed up a tall pine to get a better view of the forest. She perched on a thick enough branch that could support her and still be comfortable. The light winds made her black cloak dance with her (short/long) (h/c) hair and (f/c) dress.

After a while she spotted a few deer in some bushes looking for some food. She slowly readied her bow at one of the bigger deer's head, until she noticed a doe come out of the bushes with her fawns. She gasped which startled the deer and walked away. The maiden loosened her bow and set it on her lap, waiting for another prey to find.

A few minutes later spotted a few rabbits; she quickly aimed the arrow at one's head and released, then the other, finally the last one. She then climbed down the tree to retrieve her prey; once she was down she tied the feet of the three rabbits and put it into a cloth bag for later. She then walked to the stream to catch a few fish and then bathe in the cool waters.

Once she approached the body of water she immediately got an arrow and another cotton bag to fill with fish. After about half an hour she had twelve fish in the bag ready to be cooked. She put the bag far away from the water and disrobed.

__________'s POV

When I first got into the water it was freezing cold but after a while it became lukewarm to my skin. I swam to the rocks near the waterfall and washed my hair.

"Aye, mornin' lassie," I heard a familiar voice say, the sound of feet stepping on the leaves came closer.

"D-Don't come closer Allistor," I said flustered.

"Okay," he said and stopped walking, "I'm turning around."

I quickly got out of the water and dried myself with an old cloth and put my clothes on.

"Is i' safe," Allistor asked.

"Yea, it's safe." I said while putting on my boots.

He turned around his reddish-auburn hair popping out compared to his plain white shirt revealing some of his chest and dirty brown trousers.

"I see ye go' some mea' for bre'fas'," Allistor said while looking at bag of fish sticking out.

"Yep, did you ge' any mea'?"

"You can bet on i' I got some mea'-"

Allistor said grinning but then stopped and turned toward the bushes.

There was a rustle in the bushes.

He quietly got his bow off his sling and inserted an arrow. And slowly creeped toward the bushes, ______ following close behind.

Allistor looked in the bushes to see the most surprising sight in his experience in hunting. A little blonde boy in the bushes fast asleep.
