5 MONTHS LATER

It had been five months since I brought John back to Dave. The pack and I have been getting along greatly. Well most of us at least. This one female wolf, who just joined the pack, keeps trying to challenge me for my title as Alpha. Everyday when I go to check on my pack she challenges me. And to tell you the truth it's getting pretty annoying.

"I challenge you to a duel. Loser leaves pack forever and winner owns pack!" She growled at me as I entered our pack territories. "No SilverPawn, I will not fight you. And seriously who says duel!" I snapped back. I knew I shouldn't do it. I shouldn't get tempted. But that all left my mind when she attacked me. Never attack a wolf when her backs turned. I attacked with all my might.

As we fought I felt a crowd gather. 'Oh, great. Now I have to act extremely strong.'I thought. But as I thought about this I let my mind stray to far. I did the stupidest thing I could ever do. I stopped. With my neck exposed. SilverPawn took this opportunity to grab my neck. She suprisingly knew how to hold a wolf in a 'SUBMISSIVE LOCK HOLD'. The best move in fights so the one in the hold can't move or they'll snap their own necks. As I slowly realized I couldn't win I panicked. Yet I did not move. In my whole five months as Alpha I had never lost a fight and I didn't plan on losing today. "Fight hard, or die trying!" I yelled. The crowd gasped seeing my body start to glow. I quickly focused all my strength into the frozen clock necklace. The harder I thought the faster the clock's hands spun, until they stopped. And just like the clock the world around me stopped. I carefully pried my neck from out of SilverPawn's mouth and walked around her so I was behind her. As soon as I had a clear jump for her neck I restarted time. But before she could register that my neck was no longer in her mouth I had already pounced. I landed heavily on her back. Putting all my weight on her back so that her knees buckled and she fell. Even before she hit the ground I had my teeth around her neck. She quickly submitted when I started biting her neck harder.

As I got up off of her she started laughing. "What are you laughing at, you lost!" I yelled very angrily because she wasn't crying. "Come out, come out my little friends." She sang. And let me tell you, a dying cat with lung cancer that was having it's heart ripped out and shoved down it's throat would have sounded like Ariana Grande. But as she finished her monstrous singing at least 200 hunters stepped out of literally nowhere. As I looked at the ARMY of hunters I couldn't help but think 'We are screwed'.
