Partner Troubles

Just another school day...just another thing you have to go through...nothing special...just like all the other days.

These were the thoughts running through my head everyday I went to school. It had been a week since Adrien and Marinette got together and they would always hold hands, or kiss each other's cheek, or do something cute that Alya would always have to fangirl about. It also didn't help that they sat with us at lunch.

And always sat next to each other.

"Adrien and Violet you will be partners!" I heard my teacher say as I snapped back into reality.

"Coo-" Adrien started when Marinette interrupted.

"Violet do you mind if we switch partners?" Marinette said walking up to Adrien and I.

I looked at Adrien and he gave me a pleasing look. I sighed and nodded.

"Great my partner is Chloe!" Marinette said pointing to a blonde haired girl.

I nodded and walked down to Chloe, "Hi!" I said as cheerfully as possible.

"Sorry Violet but your new partner is Ivan," a orange haired girl by the name of Sabrina said.

I nodded and walked to Ivan who was currently talking to another girl, "Oh hi Violet. Your new partner is Juleka," he said nervously pointing to a black haired girl with purple ends.

I noticed he was blushing, I nodded and winked at him. He gave me a thankful smile as I walked away.

Juleka was talking to Rose, "Hey Violet!" Rose said cheerfully, "Do you mind being Alya's partner?"

My face fell but I nodded and walked away, I held my books close to my chest as I approached Alya. "Hey can you be Lila's partner? I really like Nino..."

At this point I didn't care that she had a crush on him, I felt tears threaten to fall. No one wanted to be my partner, no one cared about my feelings.

"Hey are you ok?" Alya asked reaching out to touch my shoulder.

I shook my head and ran away. I ran out of the room dropping my books behind me and running down the stairs, I sat on the bench and cried my eyes out. No one ever cared...not even your parents.....maybe they did this to get rid of you?

I could feel my nose start to run and my tears stick to my chin. I probably looked ugly right now, or even in general. Probably the main reason they didn't like me.

Adrien's P.O.V.

"What happened in here?!" Our teacher yelled just after Violet ran out. "Adrien you were her partner!"

"I switched her with Marinette," I said telling the truth.

Our teacher looked at Chloe, Sabrina answered. "She switched with me to Ivan."

"I asked her to switch with Juleka and she was more then happy to." I can answered from the corner.

Juleka nervously rubbed her neck. "She said she could be with Alya instead..."

Alya sighed, "And I switched her with Nino..."

"I'm disappointed in all of you!" The teacher yelled.

"Not our fault she takes things personally!" Chloe said while filing her nails.

"She's a new girl and feels out of place! Of course she takes it personally!" The teacher looked at me, "I'm especially disappointed in you Agreste. I partnered her up with you because I thought you would care enough not to do that!"

I looked at my desk, I of all people should've not done this. I shouldn't have let her go, I should've known. And now she was hurt because of me.

"Adrien it's not your fault it's mine..." Marinette said putting a hand on my shoulder.

I shook my head, "I should've known I would hurt her..."
