Friday, September, a cold morning for a cold atmosphere. Here we stood at the funeral of my father, he had reinstated me to be the Alpha, he also told the pack to follow me as they willingly did him.

Our pack consisted of just under half the school, along with their parents making us as close as a family as ever. My mother told me, that my dad hasn't told them about my Luna position.

Martin and Christian at my sides even their parents have arrived. Everyone payed their condolences and left us. I decided we all go to our house, my real home.

------

We sat silently in the living room, the mood of the room was dim and close to me sleeping of tiredness. It wasn't bored, it was exhausting then I had to confront the pack tomorrow.

The second they see my up on that podium I'll be found out for having kin then it will be an outright riot breaking out. The funeral I made it well hidden having to wear what felt like a girdle, but was actually a sweat suit holding my stomach close.

I knew it was burning me up but that wasn't my main focus. I was burying my own father for Christ sake. The dry tears on my mother's pale cheeks, she was the most affected.

When a werewolf dies, their mate is literally dropped into depression. It's not only something I had witnessed before, it's also known as one of the hardest things to handle, especially for the mate of an Alpha.

I knew she was hurting on the inside as she tried to cover her face with a smile keeping up our hopes. I didn't expect this sudden event and it was hard to just take such information after I myself just woke up in the hospital.

I look around to the others, my sisters all look like they had gone four nights without sleep. I honestly felt the same, Christian and Martin won't leave my side for more than a minute. They want to be sure they are ready incase I faint again.

"Charlie, me and William need to leave for a meeting. Tell your mother we can offer good help if she ever needs it." Mikayla said, I nodded thanking them for coming.

"Charlie. I don't like this negative atmosphere, so can you tell us how many nieces and nephews we're having?" Wendy asked, immediately all eyes went to me.

I saw a smile appear on all my sisters faces, and my mother looked like she was excited again. I really didn't know how to tell them I decided not to get the genders yet.

"We only know how many, their genders are still a mystery." I said, they all had their hopes set high on girls.

"6." I simply said, they gasped and went to my belly, I chuckled as they all looked at it in amazement.

"I thought I would have been the first pregnant with pups." Wendy said, I rolled my eyes.

"We all know it would have been Jenny and her big mouth getting the biggest liter and most likely first." I said, they all nodded and Jenny huffed.

"Well I'm not, and I'm waiting for my mate." She said, I chuckled again. I saw as my mother walked over and took a seat next to me putting her hand to my belly.

The feeling of two kicks gave her such a big smile and the tears came back. I hugged her as she wrapped her left hand around me keeping her other on my belly.
