Chapter 50
The End

Telling people to hurry up and hide in the basement is freaking me out. First day of me being Luna and this is what I encountered! For Good Goddess's sake, I swear I'm going to faint one of these days. Despite what I feel, I guide the other kids towards the basement. The sun is beginning to go down, ready to greet the other side of the world, and the night is about to greet us with light breeze of the wind and twinkling stars.

What bugs me is that I haven't found Dave yet. I hope Perry is taking care of him. Hell, I hope Perry has brought him somewhere safe. Dave is upset with the wolves, I know that. So seeing one would get him in trouble. There's a sudden pain in my heart, and Furion howls in pain. Clearly, that means something. Cloud could be hurt. Later, once everyone is inside of the damn basement, I'll go there and help the others. I can't just sit here, watch everyone, and do nothing.

"Come on, go, go, go!" I say to everyone, making them hurry to enter. The fighting is within distance. I can almost see blood from where I'm standing. The two Luna; Michelle and Dorothy are telling everyone to be calm and that everything will be alright. Apparently, they are more suitable for this type of scenario. I see the Alpha of Sapphire Quartz Pack, Elijah running into the wilderness, transforming into his wolf as he jumps in the air. The other Alpha Samuel Evans is beginning to transform as well, running into the wilderness to help the others to fight the rogues. "Michelle, Dorothy, I'm leaving you in charge of here. You are more prepared on this scenario. I need to fight along with them. Make sure they're okay and all. Give what they need; food, water, anything." They nod at me furiously, eyes wide as they see me turn on my heels and run into the wilderness, shifting and letting Furion take over me.

Once on four, I run through the wilderness, smelling the strong scent of the Rogue running across the wilderness. I hear my mate's howl and my heart races faster, imagining the worst but I push it at the back of my head, not wanting it to be true. One rogue tries to stop me from running further into the wilderness. As he lunges at me, bared fangs and all, I take a step back several times and he lands in front of me. As he does so, I lunge myself at him, knocking him with my head and he groans in pain. That's when Furion gets angry and locks my mouth on the rogue's throat, and the rogue howls in pain, wiggling out of my locked mouth on his throat. Blood begins to pour out, covering my muzzle. I use my scent of smell to track the other rogues. Apparently, there are a lot of rogues attacking us. I begin to run again, searching for my mate. Even my sense of smell can't track him due to the overwhelming smell of blood everywhere. I search for Cloud, attacking every rogue I see but I can't find him. Furion whines in desperation as I do. We both want our mate safe and sound. Being Alpha has its cons as well, not just pros. But he's destined to be an Alpha and I should not question it. I guess I'm just worrying too much.

There's a wolf lunge behind me and I hit the ground, groaning in pain as the paws of the rogue rest on my back. When I look over my shoulder, he has this evil grin plastered on his face and I want nothing but to punch the grin off his face; to the point that his face would be unrecognizable. I try to wiggle, growling at him in an attempt to lure him off me, but that just makes his grin grow even wider. I roll my eyes at him. He's messing with the Luna, doesn't he know that?

As he's about to hit me with his paws, another wolf lunge at him and I'm glad the pressure on my back has been lifted off. I wiggle, dusting off the dirt in my fur and growling menacingly at the rogue who attacked me. Unfortunately, the wolf who helped me ends the rogue's life.

"Are you okay?" he asks me and I instantly recognize the voice; it's Marcus. I nod at him, smiling up at him. He's wolf is bigger than me, considering he's a guardian and all. "Well, next time, be careful."

"I am being careful," I scoff childishly, rolling my eyes at him.

Marcus just chuckles at me, winks at me and just runs into the wilderness further, to which I follow. Perhaps he knows where Cloud is, but as soon as I train my eyes in front of me, Marcus is no longer there. I growl in annoyance, tracking his scent but none due to the stinking blood everywhere. The blood is still dropping from my muzzle and I figure that I'll just take care of myself later. I knock one of the rogues, who's attacking a warrior of my pack and when the warrior sees me, he immediately bows in respect but I just nudge him, telling him that there's no need to be formal since we are in a battle with rogues right now. He immediately understands and runs towards the other side of the woods.
