Going through Hell

Author note + Chapter one

This Fanfiction is one of my earliest work.

Jane

Ugh, it's my foot again, these heels are extremely uncomfortable to walk with. It's almost 7:30 PM and I still have more half hour to do this.
" This way ma'am " I was leading the way for another customer with her rich boyfriend who is wearing a handmade suit and an Italian leather shoes to get a designed hand bag that will cost him a fortune, of course with a professional smile on my face .
" pick anything you want honey " he told her while scrolling something on his phone.
She was squealing out of excitement .
" Awe baby, thank you so much" she told him as she wraps her arm around his waist. He lifts his eyes to meet hers then he smiled.
" please show us all the bags on the first shelf " he asks me after realizing that they were getting a little too intimate in a public department store .
" yes sir, " I carefully showed them the latest and brand new bags that probably cost more than my paycheck for more 3 months.
I watch them as they were picking what they want, after working here for almost 3 years, dealing with stuff that I couldn't afford myself to myself, I learned a lot about those rich people, especially those who born with a silver spoon inside of their mouths like this man in front of me, and as I supposed, after a while of "trying" to pick that one bag, the typical scene happened again...
" we will take all this four bags please " the guy told me and I nodded, well, well, another girl did it again and made the boyfriend buys her all the bags she wants. I carried the four bags carefully to the front counter and Alice was glancing at me in surprise. - yes Alice yes, another guy bought for his girlfriend some stuff that cost more than our paychecks together for 6 months - .

" those will be 56000$ sir " I told him and I noticed that look in the guy's eyes, opps, he is regretting it .
" Do want me to wrap them sir ? " I told him as I take his credit card .
" No thank you, only a bag will do "
" Sure " I put each one in a separate bag of our store and I handed them to him.
" have a nice day, sir " I smiled to them as I sent them out with that professional smile again.
I walked back to the counter where Alice Lee, - my Coworker and only friend - was standing waiting for any new customers to come, I stood beside her and waited too .

"That happened again !" She told me in a sarcastic tone
" I know " I chuckled as we noticed our boss was walking towards us, Mrs. Park. The blonde arrogant old woman who is in her middle 40s who always chews a strawberry-flavored gum between her teeth and a pinkish lipstick on her lips that matches the color of the gum.

" Good evening ladies " she stood in front of us with a paper in her hand, yes we knew it, it was the schedule for the new shifts .
" Ms. Jane, starting next month, you'll be taking the morning shift with Mr. Bernard "
" yes ma'am " I nodded as she turned her eyes to Alice
" Ms. Alice you will still be on the evening shift , and Mr. Jack will be taking over Jane's shift "
Alice nodded to her and she turned on her heels to leave to the back room. Just to let you know, this one is nothing near friendly. But Oh uh, Alice doesn't get along well with Jack, she'll blubber and complain about this the whole night, and probably every night for the remaining of this month. And I am the one who is going to suffer .
- after work, me and Alice parted at the bus station.

" Are you sure you don't want any help ? " Alice told me 5 minutes before her bus arrival.

" Yes, Alice I am sure, Me and Jimin can manage this" I am looking for a new way to send my mom some money after she moved to Brazil for work. The banks there have a complicated system that I'm not used to that probably Alice or her parents know something about, but I have to do this to avoid more headache . Sorry Alice
