((AN: Here it is finally another chapter in the story sorry I haven't been able to really post I honestly forgot about this story for a little bit. So here it is finally finished and her chapter four!))
In the hunter's hideout, Sabin was doing some recon work unable to get Alice out of his head. He wanted to find out for sure who she was and why she was with such an asshole like Galen in the first place. Didn't she know how much of a dick he was, surely she must have known something. As he did his recon he stayed in the shadows so the hunters didn't see him. The male stopped pressing his ear against a wooden door listening to what sounded like muffled yelling and other voices from the other side, "I want Alice Demmonta and Annilise Belcourt found as soon as possible! I need to teach Alice a lesson in following orders. And then finally get the woman of my dreams to bend to my every will. I will be a god before her and with Demmonta at our side we will put fear into those demons that destroy the balance. If only she knew how to follow orders."
Sabin had heard another voice in the room speak, "sir, we have a lead on where Alice and Annilise reside. We found traces of survival in Gellert Hill. In the woods where we had fought the infamous Sabin."
The demon male heard this and he was thoroughly confused, Alice had ran away? His next question: why did she leave? He thought Alice loved being a hunter, didn't she want to kill him and his friends? Or did that change too? Sabin had to find out for himself. According to the hunter speaking to Galen: Alice and some girl named Annilise were in the woods just beyond Gellert Hill. He peeled himself away from the door slinking back into the shadows just in the knick of time. The door he was eavesdropping on opened and out came two hunters and Galen. "As soon as we find Alice and Annilise we will continue the search for the rest of the artifacts to find the dimOuniak." He heard Galen say. Sabin had to really control his inner demon who was screeching inhuman sounds and clawing the sides of his skull, the creature was even pacing back and forth desperate to fuel this bastard with doubt.
"Shut up you fucking demon do you want us to get caught?! Because I certainly don't! So keep your mouth shut and be good for once. Wait until we are out of this place then you can freely spread your doubts all around." Sabin hissed in his mind to try and keep the little monstrosity in his mind quiet. The male then absconded into the night to search for his pray and whoever got in his way to find them.

When the dusk turned to dawn Sabin was no closer to finding Alice than he was to finding the ancient artifacts needed to find the cursed box that made him who he was today. He had been scouting the area since he had left the hunter hideout and found out his little tidbit of information, "I swear to the fucking gods if they said all that shit because they knew I was in the area and put me on this wild goose chase... I will find them all and skin them alive and make them into an all you can eat buffet for you, you little prick." He said to the air but it was pretty clear he was talking about his demon.
Sabin looked down and got down onto the ground looking for any traces that may suggest there were people living and surviving here. The male then looked up upon hearing the sound of a twig break, he saw a small female with curly blue hair that cascaded down her back. She was gathering what looked to be berries of some kind. He slinked to the shadows of the trees to watch her, she was softly humming to herself as she picked the berries, looks like those hunter bastards weren't lying after all, "They must be very well hidden in able to keep themselves under the radar. Where are they hiding?" Sabin thought to himself. He figured he would follow this blue haired girl and hopefully find Alice in the process. Sabin had to make sure he kept his eye on the girl as well as the surrounding area. If what Galen said was true, there was no doubt that Alice would be killed for insubordination or even tortured to conform to Galen's ideals. If that were to happen then there was no turning back for her or him to try and turn her head away from the lies that bastard fed her.
Sabin sat there in the shadows watching the girl pick her berries until she started to move away from the bush. He followed her to the next bush and then the next one. This cycle continued until the basket she held in her hands was completely full with berries and she started to trek her way forward through the woods. The male made a quick movement to make sure the woods was still empty. Once that was done he went back to following the female, she would almost fall out of his line of sight and that would frustrate him a great deal, until she finally stopped at what appeared to only be a bunch of branches, vines, and flora. The female began to move them in a certain way and manner finally revealing an entrance to a cave. This had Sabin surprised, never in all of his years had he seen something so clever, but that girl looked too innocent, frail, and not worthy for battle so it couldn't have been her that thought that up. It must have been Alice, finally after months of searching Sabin had finally found his target: Alice Demmonta.
