Isaac's POV
The low growl of the alpha echoes from the woods. My eyes take to the place where the vet had been laying; the backseat is completely empty. Next to me, Cameron steps forward, and she pushes Derek to the side. That is when I see them; the bright eyes of the alpha. Before I can pull her back, its claws sink into Cameron's stomach. I watch as the dark blood floods out of her mouth and spills onto her blue sweatshirt; her body has gone limp. "Cameron," I yell, a stream of tears pour from my eyes,"Cameron!" The heartless creature strips her of its claws, and her small figure collides with the wall; she crumbles to the ground, blood still pouring. "I love you," she whispers, unaware we can still hear her. I howl as her eyes shut; the alpha directs itself towards me. An outside force tackles the creature, only to be slung into the wall. A hand grasps mine, pulling me towards the school. "No, I'm not leaving Cameron out there," I yell, thrashing against the person. "Isaac, Cameron would want you to be safe, go!" Lyric yells pushing me to the steps. I look back at Cameron's body, motionless on the ground, before picking up my feet and traveling up the steps.

Once we are inside the school, I slide down the smooth, brick wall into the floor, crying. "It killed her! It picked her up and flung her into the wall, and I just stood there!," I yell, throwing my fist against the floor. The tile breaks under my force; my arms cover my face, trying to block me from the world.

"I'm going to kill your boss, Scott. I'm going to rip his throat out," Erica screams. "Will you all just calm down!" Scott responds, angry. "Calm down? My best friend, your sister, was just brutally murdered and you expect me to calm down?" hollers Erica, pushing Scott back, her eyes glowing yellow. "I don't think you have realized this yet but the doors are not locked! He can still get through," Stiles says, pushing his best friend and girlfriend away from each other. "How do we lock it? We don't have keys," Lyric asks. I look outside, and i see a pair of bolt cutters laying on the steps. "Move," I push them all away. "What? No!" Scott pants. "I couldn't keep your sister safe, Scott, but I'm going to make sure her family and friends stay alive," I tell him. "What if he is still out there?" yells Lyric. "He is still out there," I say, emotionless. "He will kill you," she replies. "Well then I'll be with her again," I open the door and walk out of the school. Bending down, I grasp the cutters. "Isaac, get back in," they yell. I look up and see those bright red eyes that I have come to loathe. "Come get me," I hiss. The creature, positioned on all fours, breaks into a sprint. Hands grab my body and begin to pull me backwards. "What the hell, Isaac," Erica smacks my head. "I'm going to kill that thing if it is the last thing I do," I brush off the dirt that had accumulated on my jacket," now lock the door." Stiles takes the bolt cutters and put a handle through both bar of the door. "This isn't going to lock him out for long; we need to move now," says Stiles. We look down the dark hallways, unsure of where to go. "It doesn't matter just get in a classroom," Scott whispers, leading the way. We run behind him; however, Erica finds a classroom and pulls us in. Stiles, Scott, an I quietly pick up the desk and move it to the door. After securing ourselves, we take a seat in the seats, panting as we try to catch our breath.

"Uhm, you guys," Lyric interrupts. We turn our attention to the purple headed girl staring out the window. "What is it?" asks Stiles. "Has your hood always been bent?" she vaguely asks. "What? My hood is not bent!" Stiles yells, going to look out the window. Flying through the next window, Stiles' battery lies on the ground. Shards of glass embellish our clothes. "My battery!" he yells, dropping down beside the engine.

"Come on, we have to go to a place with less windows" says Scott as he tries to push the desk away. I walk to him and help lift the wooden desk. Slinging open the door, I make sure all of my friends are out as Scott leads us to a safe haven. We run through the halls; we stop only to up and go again. "The locker room. We can go to the boys locker room!" Stiles mentions. Stopping dead in our tracks, we turn around and head down the hall towards the locker room.

Once there, we hurry inside the stench filled room, feeling safe until the sound of foot steps come into range. Thud, thud, thud, the feet pound against the tile. We cower down together beside a set of lockers, terrified for our lives; the sound comes closer. "We will all be together soon, baby," I whisper, looking to heaven. The doorknob jingles and is twisted harshly under a great force. I close my eyes, ready to see my sweetheart again. The door swings open letting a small tint of light in. Thud, thud, thud. We all take our final breaths before we meet the same fate as Cameron and Derek.

Suddenly a bright light is shined in our faces. "What are you hoodlums up to! Breaking into the school is a federal offense!" the janitor yells at us," get out of here before I call the cops. " "Sir, you don't understand," Scott replies. "I completely understand that a bunch of teenagers come up here to hanky panky, but I won't have it! Out!" he motions to the door. We quickly get to our feet, stumbling as he pushes us out the door. Before we can turn to leave, his body is pulled back into the locker room. "AHH!" the girls scream. The janitor's pleads echo through the school; we scramble down the hall, not risking to look back.

"No, no, no!" I growl, punching the steel door. We push with all the force we can muster up to move the dumpsters that have blocked the door at the dead end of the first floor hallway. Erica pauses, her mouth gaping as she stares out the window. "Erica, what's wrong? What do you see?" I ask her. "It's there. The alpha it is looking at me,"she whimpers. We slowly turn our heads to see the large, hairy creature staring in on us. "Run!" Scott yells, grabbing Lyric's hand. I take Stiles by the collar and Erica's hand, and we begin to run back down the hall. Behind us, the glass window shatters; the alpha's claw screech against the tile floor.

The steps seem endless as we travel down to the basement. The sound of the tile being scratched follows us close behind. "What do we do?" Lyric panics. "Open that door," demands Stiles, pointing to a large metal door. Scott and I pull the heavy door open, unaware of his witty plan. Stiles reaches in his pocket; he retrieves his keys. "You are going to bring it down here!" Erica tries to snatch them from his hands. "He is already on his way," he yells at her unexpectedly," I'm sorry, Erica." " Just do it already," she huffs. "Okay, everyone behinds me," he commands. We take refuge behind his slim figure. Clank, clank , clank. His keys rattle; the Alpha's growl is so close. Stiles throws the keys into the room, and the creature follows. We quickly shut the door, smiles planted on our faces as we bend over to catch our breath. Stiles and Scott shove the wooden table against the door and wall, leaving the Alpha trapped. "Get over here,"Stiles motions. All four of us on the opposite side slide across the table to take a place beside him. Stiles hops on top of the table and looks in on the beast. "How's it feel to be trapped, huh? I'm not afraid of you anymore, because you are locked in there and we are out here," Stiles taunts. The Alpha hits the door; in result, Stiles falls from the table and lands in Erica's arms. "So you're not scared?" she says, laughing. He leans up and kisses her. My heart breaks, knowing I can never kiss Cameron again. I turn away from the sight and back to the Alpha. Hatred overrides my heartache the moment; my plot of revenge forms. Its breath huffs from its nose as it rams against the door. "Keep trying. You'll don't stand a chance against pure steel," Stiles continues to taunt. Suddenly the Alpha jumps up and into the ceiling. I watch as its pressure breaks the ceiling, the boards crack under its feet. We sprint to the steps; the creature goes the opposite way.

Once we are back upstairs, we hurry down the hall trying to find something to protect us. Suddenly a phone begins to ring; we know it isn't any of ours. "I know that ringtone, it's Allison," Scott says, snatching Stiles' phone. Lyric rolls her eyes at his impulsive act. "Allison where are you? No, where are you exactly? Okay meet us in the lobby," he says over the phone. He begins to walk to the lobby; we follow close behind.

"Allison, why are you here?" Scott asks, looking her over for any harm done. "You told me to come," she replies, holding up her phone. Lyric shakes beside me as she reads the text. Scott looks over at us wide eyed," He must have my phone." "Why am I getting the feeling that you didn't send this text?" she asks. "Because I didn't ," he responds. Suddenly Allison's phone rings again; Lydia and Jackson walk through the door. "Can we leave now?" Lydia asks, slinging he purse onto her shoulder. Allison nod and we start for the door when a growl comes from above in the crawl space of the ceiling. "Run!" Scott yells taking Allison's hand instead of Lyric. Lyric stands heartbroken in the middle of the hall not willing to move. "Come on, I got you," I say, pulling her towards the group.

The group runs into another classroom, waiting for Lyric and I before blocking the door. "Scott, what the hell was that?"Allison yells
"Guys,"Stiles interrupts. Scott ignores both of them, and we start pushing the desk, chairs, and bookshelf against the door. "Guys," Stiles repeats. Everyone continues to ignore him, but I walk over to him looking at the windows. "Guys, could you jus- " he stop knowing they aren't listening. "Guys!" I yell. Every head turns our way; they are completely oblivious to the windows. "Are we forgetting about the twenty foot wall of windows?" Stiles yells. "Scott who is after us?" Allison pleads for answers. We all look at each other - Scott, Stiles, Erica, Lyric, and I. "Derek Hale," Scott speaks up. Anger grows inside of me; I feel Lyric tense beside me. She is going to kill you , Scott , if you don't stop at that. "Derek Hale, the loner that lives in the woods?" Allison asks. "Yes, he is the one who killed those people," Scott continues to lie. "They said it was a mountain lion ,"Lydia voices. "No, he murdered them and now he is going to murder us if we can't get out of this school," he says. I can feel my claws beginning to grow as he talks about the man who has taken me in when I had no where or one to go to. "And where is that sassy thing you call a sister?" Jackson asks. In seconds my fist collides with his face. His body falls to the floor; blood pours from his nose. "Never talk about her again," I yell. "Isaac!"Scott yells. "You are lucky that I didn't kill the bastard," I yell," maybe if you cared about anything other than Allison you would care that your sister is dead!" "Cameron-" Lydia stutters, a tear falling down her cheek," Cameron is dead?" Erica confirms her fears; Lydia collapses onto her, bawling. "Derek killed her?" Jackson asks, standing up from the ground. "Yes, he killed her along with the janitor," Lyric covers, pain in her voice. "Stiles call your dad! I'm sure he could get us out," Allison begs. "No!" Stiles replies. "What did you say to her?" Jackson asks. "No! Do you want to hear it in Spanish? Noh!" Stiles yells.
"Give me the phone!" Allison tries to retrieve the phone. "Get your filthy hands off my boyfriend!" Erica hollers, shoving her back. "I'm not having my dad come when I know he is going to die," Stiles tells them. "Fine, I'll call them," Allison picks up her phone, dialing 911," Yes, we are locked inside the school with a man trying to murder us." "Allison," Jackson says. "They hung up on me. She said that there was a hint that someone would prank call the police saying they were locked in the school," she says, slowly putting the phone away. "Stiles, you have to call your dad," Scott pulls Stiles aside. "I can't let my dad get killed, Scott. He is all I have left," Stiles says, uneasy. "Do what you have to do, man," Scott leaves it at that and walks back to the desk. Stiles looks around the room, slowly retrieving his phone. "Tell him to bring guns and someone with good aim,"Jackson butts in. "Shut up, dickhead," I yell. "Voicemail. It went to his voicemail," Stiles says. Bang! Bang! The screws in the door begin to come undone, clanking as they fall on the floor. "Come on!" Lyric screams," it a stairwell." "And it only goes up!" Stiles argues. "Up is better than here," I say, letting every one else go before me.

Lydia and Erica run to every door upstairs, trying to find an unlocked classroom. "Here is one!" Lydia calls us into the Chemistry lab. "Lock the door," Jackson pants, bent over trying to catch his breath. Stiles runs to a door beside the white board; we make a circle around Mr Harris' desk. "Its a fire escape, it leads down to the ground , and it is just a short walk from the parking lot. The downfall, we need a key," he tries to open the door. "The janitor has a key to every room in the school," I tell them," I'll go get it." "I'm going with you,"Scott speaks up. "No, Scott, please don't leave me," Allison begs. "I have to go," he says. "Wait," Lydia interrupts, looking at the chemistry cabinet. "It needs a key too,"Stiles points out. Everyone looks down in defeat. Crash. The cabinet glass breaks under Jackson's elbow; Lydia grabs chemicals beginning to mix them as she tells us about the Self- igniting Molotov Cocktail. She hands the weapon to Scott after Jackson puts the Sulfuric Acid in. "Please don't leave me, Scott, please," Allison kisses him. Scott kisses her back, moving his hands along her hips. I watch as Lyric breaks down and hides in Erica's shoulder. I grab him by the collar and jerk him out of the room.

Scott an I walk through the halls using our heightened senses to find the Janitor. Our noses lead us to the gym, under the bleachers. "You stay and watch guard while I go find the janitor," Scott commands. I nod, not wanting to go under the dark bleachers. After waiting five minutes, Scott is still not back; I begin to worry. Swish, swish, swish. The bleachers I was leaned against disappear; in result, I land in the floor. "Scott, get out of there," I yell, standing back up. I hear the clanking of keys from behind the shrinking bleachers; a growl comes from the other side of the gym. Those familiar eyes reappear shooting fear into my heart. "I got them!" Scott yells, diving from the now shut bleachers. "Dude," I whisper. He looks up to see the Alpha; the creature begins to run at us. Scott throws the chemical concoction, hitting the Alpha in the face. It shakes the shards from its nose and begins to run again. Its paws reach out and pull Scott and I across the gym. In seconds it is on top of me; it's drool drains onto my neck. I close my eyes ready meet my fate, but the blow never comes. I open my eyes, looking around frantically. From the corner of my eyes I see the beast against the wall, blood dripping from its mouth. That's when I see her, Cameron. She is wearing her blood stained hoodie and her hair holds leaves that it picked up from the ground. Her eyes glow a bright purple with electric blue lacing her pupil; she is gone full blown werewolf, but no hair has grown from her face. Instead, her face is a clear as ever, and her fangs and claws sharpen to a point. "Isaac get Scott and run. Don't look back just run," she says. I am in aw as what I thought was my dead girlfriend stands fully alive in front of me. "Isaac go," she yells. I jump to my feet and pull Scott along with me. We run into the hall and up the stairs; I lock us in the stairwell. "She's alive, Scott. She's alive," I say, unable to remove the smile from my face.

From the gym, a howl echoes. The howl is feminine and powerful. We drop to our knees, controlled by the hypnotizing howl. "Ah," I scream, unable to move. Suddenly the whimper of a less powerful creature runs past the stairwell. The howl stops; we take the chance to make our way to the chemistry lab. As Scott places the key in the hole, he stops and the key breaks off into the lock. We fall to the floor our anchors coming to mind. Cameron's image flashes through my mind; resulting in, the hair on my face disappears. Sirens sound in my ears bringing a new hope to my heart.

After getting checked by the paramedics, I walk to Scott and Stiles. "So what was your anchor? Allison?" I ask. "No, all I could see was Lyric, man. I treated her so badly tonight; I just let Allison get to me. I need to apologize to her," he says. Stiles and I watch as he walks off only to be dragged over by Allison. With my heightened hearing, I listen to the end conversation. " I can't trust you, Scott. It's over," Allison says before walking away. Lyric comes and stands beside me; she listens in as well. "I can't be with him if he is going to fall into her hands so easily," she tells me. As Scott comes back to us, she looks in his eyes and flips him the bird before walking away. "Lyric, wait!" he yells to her but she continues to walk. "Go after her, Scott," I tell him. Taking a seat on the steps, I watch Deaton get wrapped up and Stiles hug his dad. From the corner of my eye, I see a girl in a black tank top walk up and take a seat beside me. I go to look at her when the girl kisses me. I kiss her back whispering against her lips, " I'm so glad you're alive." "Me too. I'm not ready to leave you yet," Cameron laughs. I hug her tightly planning never to let go when she says ," Did you hear my howl?"
