Bulletproof Love- Pierce The Veil

***

Alyssa's P.O.V.

Everyone screamed as the graduating class threw their hats into the air. I turned to my best friend and hugged her tightly.

"We did it," I cried.

"I can't believe it. Alyssa, we finally did it! We fucking graduated high school," Marley, my best friend, yelled so I could hear her over all the screaming.

"Holy shit." It was all I could say. I was feeling millions of emotions. I was happy, sad, scared, and every other emotion rolled into one. School is finally over and next year I will be in college without my best friend.

"Come on!" Marley pulled my arm leading us to our families.

When we got there our families gathered us into a huge group hug. Including my two older brothers, our moms, our dads, and a couple of cousins, aunts and uncles. It was just a huge group hug with everyone I love. I can't believe I will be leaving them all behind tomorrow. I would have stayed the summer with them, but since my college is so far away I'm leaving tomorrow and preparing my apartment. I also have to find a roommate to help with rent. Oh yeah, and find a job.

"Marley, Alyssa, I'm so proud of you two," my mom took us into a tight hug. "You two have worked so hard."

"Thank you Mrs. Carrington. You helped us a lot," Marley smiled.

"Let me in on this. I'm very proud of both of you too," Marley's mom, Jenny Carson, said as we opened our arms so she could join the hug.

We finished hugging and started our way to the parking lot. We had parked beside each other so we could follow each other to the restaurant after graduation. We decided on pizza. Well Marley and I did. Everyone just agreed to let us pick. After the pizza though, will be when the real fun happens. Marley and I decided that, since I was going away early, we should have some fun around town before I had to leave. Like one last memory. Something to remember her with when I leave.

"C'mon let's go slow poke," Marley dragged me to my car.

"Okay, okay, slow down," I laughed. God, I'm going to miss her.

We got to my car and she opened the door for me.

"Thank you kind sir," I joked. She laughed and closed the door. She blew a kiss and walked around the back to her car on the other side of mine

*beep*

Marley- Beat you there;)

Me- In your dreams;)

Marley- We'll see

I was about to shut off my phone just as she texted once more.

Marley- Love you

Me- Love you too:)

I shut off my phone and smiled. I looked at my mom and she saw me staring.

"Are you ready to beat them?" She asked.

"Oh yeah," I replied. "Let's do this shit." My mom laughed as she sped up just enough to pass them. I stuck out my tongue to their car while Marley gave me a dirty look.

"Ha. We beat you," I said to Marley as we walked into the restaurant. It was a beautiful place. Richard's Pizza Palace always has good food and the restaurant was always so decorated.
