Stone gets into the shower and turns on the hot water, she didn't know why exactly but she was crying. She hasn't cried since her torture began, but being told she she'll be stripped of the chance of being a mother, something she wasn't sure she ever wanted to be, is making her cry like a child. She curls up on the floor and lets herself cry for everything that is wrong in her life.

"Stone you in here?" Jural knocks on the door, "yeah in the shower," Stone snuffles and clears her throat before subconsciously wiping her eyes.

"I'm coming in." Jural walks past the shower and sits on the toilet seat, so to give her some privacy. "I know what it means when a female wolf's heat." He speaks up, "so do I, which is why I locked myself in the apartment."

"Yes, so you know what that means for you?" He asks as Stone hug her body, "wolves can't have children with someone who isn't their mate." Stone comments as she hugs her knees.

"You don't know that." He replies, "I do when I was sixteen my parents had the pack doctor explain to me the chances of pregnancy survival of a fertilized egg with a non-mate sperm. If impregnated most females will miscarry within the first month. The survival rate is less than five percent, And if the child does survive they'll have abnormalities and short life expectancy is two to eight months. I was engaged to an impossible remember" Stone explains.

"There's always a chance."

"I'm not pregnant Jural," Stone states to get him to understand, "well not yet it takes up to thirty-six hours." He replies, holding out for hope.

"It's been twenty-four and I'm not pregnant Jural. You're a bitten vampire remember, only half-breeds can have children." Amoura speaks up, "I'm sorry."

Jural gets up, "Hey Jural?" He stops and looks at her, "my parents still wanted me right? Even though I was weak?" He walks out muttering, "I don't know," He walks out and Amoura lays her head against her knees. Luna walks in then. "You're not going to tell him?" She sits against the shower glass.

"There's nothing to tell. I was shot in the abdomen after having sex with a vampire." Stone mutters, "Stone-" she cuts her off, "I just want this day to end." Stone cuts in.

"I'm so sorry Stone," Luna nods, "don't be, it's not your fault." Stone replies, "it is I'm the one who let it slip that you were no longer in heat." Amoura opens the shower door and hugs Luna. "You did nothing wrong. Nothing was going to come out of this heat anyway, he's not my mate."

Luna squeezes Stone's arm, as she starts crying, "but he shot you, he took a life that couldn't even defend itself. He didn't even care that you could be pregnant. He didn't care."

Luna's tears fall onto Stone's arms. "What will he do with us when we don't convince him we're worth something anymore?" Luna asks her, "I won't let anything happen to you all. It's okay Luna, we'll all be okay."

Stone gets out of the shower as Luna hugs her and apologizes once more before returning to her apartment. Stone quickly changes before fishing for the phone Alzack gave to her when she became an active member of the Shadow Unit.

She dials the familiar number multiple times only to hang up on the first few rings. Finally, someone answers before she can hang up. "Hello?" before should could respond the phone hits the floor as a bullet goes through Amoura's skull.

Alzack crushes the phone. "What part of you are a weapon didn't you understand Amoura Stone?" Alzack motions for Captain Rai to get her and take her to the dungeon.
