The sky and the waves were dark and a huge storm  was coming.  Chara felt as if her head was about to explode. She touched it with her hand and gasped. It was all covered in blood.
~
"Frisk, are you ready to go out?" Chara asked impatiently.
"Coming!"
Chara sighed. Choosing a dress would always take her sister centuries. When Frisk finally arrived at the hall she couldn't help but smile. She was looking as cute as always.
"Okay, let's go."
Chara opened the door and pushed Frisk's wheelchair. The little disabled girl smiled widely as she felt the scent of flowers from their garden .
"Aren't sunflowers the prettiest thing in the world?" she asked.
~
Chara was sitting in an uncomfortable chair. Her legs were hanging over the floor. She had a huge gross bandage on the head and her hands were still shaking. She heard some adults talking in other room.
"She may have to have some time o recover. Haven't you heard any news about her parents?"
"I would really love to say that I did. Unfortunately- "
"What a poor child... I hope they'll be found soon"

~
"Do you want an ice cream?"
"Of course!" Frisk smiled and reached for the treat.
She looked cute in her baby blue dress and a straw hat. Her brown curly hair covered up a little bit of her eyes . Her tanned skin was covered in freckles. She was fragile and soft, innocent. Just looking at her calmed Chara down.
"Hey, big sis, can we go watch the sea from our cliff?"
"Frisk, you know I don't like that place."
"Yeah, but we haven't been there forever! How am I supposed to love the sea without even looking at it?"
"You can watch it from the beach" Chara sighed.
"It's so crowdy! Oh, pleeeeeaaaase!" Frisk glanced at her sister with puppy eyes. She pulled Chara's shirt.
"Okay, okay, damn it!" Chara raised her hands to the sky. "Stop looking at me like that"
Chara felt that the smile that showed up on her little sister's face was worth it all.

~

It has been eight years since the accident. Chara had finally officially become an adult and moved with her sister from the orphanage. She was really worried about their future. As a waitress, she barely could afford to pay taxes and go to the grocery store every week.
When the doctor recommended changing her sister's surroundings, the only idea she could come up with was going back to the house on the cliff. It sure needed some restoration, but there were no other options.
Frisk was really excited to come back to where she was born. Losing their parents and older brother happened when she was too young to understand, so she hadn't connected the tragedy to the place.
Chara wiped off some tears when they arrived quick enough for her sister not to notice. She faked a smile and embraced Frisk.
She had to admit their old-new house looked beautiful.
Frisk was truly enchanted. She strolled around the house in her wheelchair talking enthusiastically about painting the walls, hanging pictures, and placing new furniture.
"Can we have sunflowers on the windowsills?" she asked, pointing at on of the windows.
"Sure" Chara mumbled and crossed her arms, looking sorrowfully out the window.
"At least you can't see the sea trough the trees", she thought and cringed.

~
Chara let her hand rest on her sister's arm while the other pushed  the wheelchair. The sky looked beautiful that afternoon, the bright blue colour blended into a lovely mix with bright yellows and pastel pinks. The clouds were bright and fluffy.
Chara loved the sky. For some reason, ever since she was a kid she treated it with special adoration, grateful to see it.
They arrived. The beauty of the view was overwhelming, yet Chara gasped fearfully. The sea looked wild, waves were in a mad rush, the dark water surface seemed to smile at her nastily. She stepped back and hold her breath.
"I'm here for Frisk" she reminded herself. "I can't let my fears take away her joy."
Her hands were still shaking, but she forced herself to smile and hugged her sister from the back, hiding her face in her short chocolate curls.
"Do you like it?" she asked, wishing for Frisk to not hear how her voice cracked.
"It's... The most beautiful thing I've ever seen."
Chara smiled and straightened.
"Could you bring me those sunflowers from the back?" Frisk asked.
"Sure thing." Chara replied and breathed out a sigh of relief, grateful for an occasion to turn away from the sea.
She plucked some of the prettiest flowers and calmed down her
accelerated breath.
She turned around. The flowers gently fell on the ground.
Frisk disappeared.
