"Ritchaaaaaaaaan! I know you're awake. Its your birthday! Wake up!"
"Why so early, Shouta? Ugh-- What time is it?"
He was jumping up and down on my bed.
I waved along as he shook me awake.
"Its 6:30am, WAKE UP!!"
"SHIT! I'M GONNA BE LATE AND I'VE ONLY BEEN ASLEEP FOR 2 HOURS?!!"

I look horrendous.
Why do I have to suffer like this?
"Good Morning, Onodera-kun."
"Good Morning, Professor Kamijou."
"Ritchan! Happy Birthday!"
I sat beside Misaki-kun who was my classmate ever since highschool.
Me, him and Shouta can be considered as what others call it, best friends.
But Shouta was in a different department, me and Misaki took Literature as our major.
We have Professor Kamijou this morning, and he's the terror of the school.
"Happy Birthday, Onodera-kun. So where's the party?" Professor Kamijou spoke.
I was shocked!
I never thought Professor Kamijou would talk to his student like that.
"There's no party, Sensei... Uni students don't have time for that."
"You're wrong!--" Misaki poked his finger onto my forehead.
"I'm gonna take him out for drinks later this evening, Sensei." He laughed.

Everyone started to shuffle out as first period ended.
Sensei asked me to stay behind.
"Onodera-kun, you're behind on credits because of your absents. Please pass a 5000 word essay on any topic we had so far."
"When's the deadline?"
"Tomorrow last period, I'll give you extra time because its your birthday today."
I wanted to cry.
Professor wants me to write a 5000 word essay by tomorrow?
I also have other subjects to worry about, damnit!
