All along Emir just stood there , watching her. He had never met a girl who could hold herself for so long.He decided to leave , that is when he saw Davin making his way towards her.
Davin and Emir did not had anything particularly against each other but weren't really fond of each other eitherDavin approached the ravishing girl he saw when she entered the house .He couldn't get his eyes off her. He bent down near her ear and whispered something inaudible. It was when he put his hands on her hips that she abruptly stood up while turning around . This caused her to lose her balance she fell against the bar counter .
Davin avoided this and started kissing her neck. This was all it took for Ellery to gather enough strength to push him off of her . She stood up , her footsteps flattering .
When Davin tried to approach her , he was stopped by a hand on his shoulder.
Emir bent his head towards one side , motioning Davin to leave . Davin was about to object but when Emir raised his eyebrow , he knew it was better to do as he says.
Emir started his way towards Ellery who had now almost reached the front door. She stumbled and he rushed to steady her .
''thanks'' Even in her drunkenness her voice was firm.
''No problem. '' They were now out of the house .
Ellery looked around, the street was empty. It was just the two of them there . She was still stumbling with each step and each time Dave reached out to steady her.
Ellery sat down on the concrete road, pulling him with her .
''Whoa''. He landed on his butt and not too gently.
She started chuckling, and then she started full blown laughing. She had
They walked for a little bit. Neither of them knew what was happening . When they both woke up in the morning, they despised human company. What happened in less than 24 hours ?They were walking side by side , well one of them was stumbling while the other walked. The silence was more than comfortable. They were more at peace than they ever had been.
After some time they both sat down . And that too in the middle of the street. Both their faces were adorned by goofy little grins. Why were they smiling? The answer to that was unknown even to them.
Its as like watching two kids who have just declared each other best friends . It was an adorable sight.
After a while , the grin had left Dave's face and was replaced by a somber look. Never ever in his life had Dave not minded company. He hated , yes hated people. Whoever he had encountered of that species were prejudiced. And that was one thing he hated more than people , prejudice a nasty little thing.
There were only two humans that he could tolerate; one was himself while the other was psychopath Col.
For a moment he wondered if he could consider Col human.
Well as much shocking it was he had come across another human , who he didn't knew at all, that he could tolerate.Ellery 's eyes fluttered shut and her head rested on Dave's shoulder. This brought him back from his thoughts. He looked at her. Her long lashes casting shadows on her high cheekbones. Her pouted plump lips. The innocence in her face made his eyes go soft.
He kept staring at her. He looked intently and noticed a small scar on her temple.
She stirred in her half unconscious state. Dave sat on his knees and gently picked her up . He made his way towards his car. A striking black jaguar. He opened the door as he had gotten his key out before picking her up.
The door opened and he pushed it further with his leg. He gently paced Ellery in the passenger seat and clamped her seat belt . He got in the car .
He was going to take her home.
