Bound To A Vampire

Chapter 1

Today was the last day of my junior year. We had to take our History exam. Unfortunately, I was done before everyone else so I had another hour to do nothing. After what felt like centuries later, everyone finished, and we stared at the clock, counting down until summertime. Five minutes later, the bell rang. I walked out with my best friend, Charlotte. She's a cheerleader and a gymnast. she is 5'8 with long blonde hair. Her eyes are a blue-green color. Sometimes I envied her looks, but I am good the way I am. I have reddish brown hair that goes down to my waist. I have grayish blue eyes that almost look purple in some ways. I am also 5'7. But I am nothing compared to Charlotte's beauty.

" That test was so hard, I'm so glad it's over with!" Charlotte complained.

"Well, if you would have been prepared for it it would have been easier," I told her.

" Whatever. I'm just glad it's finally summertime! And your birthday is coming up in 2 weeks!! Have you planned it out yet?" she asked me.

"Well I haven't had the time to plan it out. You want to come over later and help me?" I asked in which I already knew the answer.

"Of course, but I have to go home first. I will let you when I am on the way. ok?"

"Alright that would be fine," I said smiling.

We said our goodbyes and we parted ways. I headed towards my BMW and was stopped along the way. Then suddenly I felt two strong arms wrap around my waist.

"Hey Scarlet," I instantly knew who it was.

"Hey Cameron," I laughed, placing my arms around his neck. Cameron was 5'11 with short dirty blonde hair.

" So I was thinking, that we could go out tonight?" He asked me with seductive tone in his voice. I looked deeply into his hazel eyes as the were pleading also.

" I would love to, but I have to watch Haley tonight and Char is coming over to help me plan my party. And before you ask if you can join you know how my parents are about you in the house with out them there", I responded.

" Alright, Alright I know. Well maybe some other time then, huh?"

"Most definitely", I laughed.

I kissed him goodbye, then drove home. God, I love him!! Cameron and I have been together for going on four years.

The ride home was very pleasant, but I could not wait to watching my little sister. I love her to death and I love to see her face when I come home. Her sweet face brightens my day no matter what mood I am in.

I pulled in to the drive way, locked my doors, and went inside the house.

" Mom!! Dad!! I'm home!" I shouted.

"Rosey!!" Haley yelled as she ran to me.

I embraced her with a hug. She never did like calling me by my first name. 'Rosey' is not my middle name either, but she is so cute I just let it slide.

" Hey Haley. Do you know where mom and dad are?" I asked her.

" Uh-huh. They sent me to come get you. They are talking to some cute strange man about you." She dragged me all the way to the family room. For a four-year old she was pretty strong. I saw what Haley was talking about. I didn't seem him so much as strange. He was extremely gorgeous. I found myself staring at him. Strangely he was staring at me. He had dazzling blue eyes that I could melt under. He also had short black hair with some golden blonde highlights. I quickly pulled my gaze away from him and look at my parents.

" Hey mom. Dad. What's going on?" I asked them.

My parents had a grave expression that told me I wasn't going to like it. Moments passed by then my mom finally spoke.

" Do you remember what happened a couple years ago when the vampires settled here?" I nodded, " Well, a few weeks ago we found our they created a kingdom. Now that kingdom spreads all the way to our district. This is the Prince, Andrew Sebastian Dimitri Carringston. But he is widely known as Drew or Dimitri", she informed me. The Prince stood up and bowed gracefully. He was about Cameron's height if not taller.

" I would very much to be called Dimitri if you please", he said.

His accent caught be by surprise. it was British but with a little twist of Russian and Romanian, but he spoke perfect English.

" Of course," she continued," On your 18th birthday, you will become his servant."

What?!
