Chapter 15

Demi's POV:

My mum and Maddie finally left.

I love them don't get me wrong but I really just wanted to lay on the sofa with Mel.

"Come on baby, leave it I'll do it tomorrow" I said pulling on Melanie's arm.

"Baby it'll take me two minutes to put them in the dishwasher and then we can go cuddle okay" Melanie said walking into the kitchen.

"Just leave them there" I said.

"Look watch you ready"

Melanie put the dishes in and closed it.

"See that didn't take long did it" she smiled at me.

I shook my head.

"Come on them gorgeous" Melanie picked my up wrapping my legs around her waist carrying me to the front room.

She sat down on the sofa with me sitting on her lap.

"If I remember rightly, you promised me you'd play me a song" she smiled at me.

"I don't remember ever using the word promise" grinned at her.

"Oh please"

"Can we cuddle a little first" I asked

Her.

"Yes" she smiled happily.

I smiled snuggling into Melanie's chest still sitting on her lap, I traced patterns on her arms as she played with my hair.

We stayed like for over an hour and i could feel myself falling to sleep.

"You tired baby?" Melanie asked her hand still running through my hair.

"Mmmm"

"Want me to carry you up to bed"

I shook my head

"No" I mumbled.

"Why not?"

"Cause I've got to play you a song"

"Don't be silly beautiful, If you're tired we'll go to bed"

"Are you tired?" I asked me.

"No but I can still cuddle and watch you sleep"

"That's so creepy" I said lifting my head to look at her.

"But cute" she smiled kissing my lips so lightly it didn't feel like she touched them at all.

"If you say so"

"I do, now come on let's get my sleeping beauty to bed"

Melanie lifted me up bridal style and carried me to my room laying me on the bed, she climbed in next to me and i tangled my body with hers.

"Night baby" Melanie kissed my head I just smiled my eyes already shut falling into a deep sleep.

Melanie's POV:

After 10 minutes of laying there Demi eventually pulled away from me and rolled over so she was laying on her back.

I watched her for nearly an hour as her chest would rise and fall as she slept, smiling sometimes at a dream she was having.

I looked at the clock reading 1:15 am. I sighed and looked at the ceiling.

Why can't I fall asleep.

I climbed out of bed careful not to wake my sleeping beauty, I smiled at her before walking downstairs and into her music room.

I sat down on the sofa in the room picking her an acoustic guitar and picking the strings.

Before I fall, too fast, kiss me quick but make it last

So I can see how badly this will hurt me when you say goodbye.

Keep it sweet, keep it slow, let the future pass and don't let go.

Cause tonight i I could fall too soon under this beautiful moonlight.

I looked up as Demi sang the last sentence with me.

I smiled as she sat down next to me.

"That's my most favourite song of yours" I told her.

"Even more so now" I smiled.

"Falling in love with me are you" she smiled.

"I am and I'm scared" I whispered.

"Why" she asked taking the guitar from me pulling me onto her lap.

"Cause I've never really had a serious relationship before"

"Aww baby, don't worry about that, we're in a relationship now and we're having fun aren't we, that's what it's all about" Demi smiled kissing my cheek.

"I'm crashing hard for you dems" I told

Her.

"Don't worry, I'll catch you" she whispered.

I smiled pressing my forehead against hers.

"You're truly amazing you know"

"I try" she giggled.

Me and Demi stayed on the sofa for hours just talking until we eventually fell asleep in eachothers arms...
