"Hi Rock"
She didn't know who else to talk to. Why not her childhood best friend, Rock? She still had the Teddy that he gave her all those years ago when she was about 3, but that was a while back. She was thirteen now.
A tear dropped onto her phone screen and she wiped it off.
"Hi" was Rock's reply. Another tear rolled down her cheek, she hadn't seen Rock in years. "You alright?" He asked.
'Oh God' she thought. "My boyfriend added his friend to a group chat then she added a bunch of people I don't know and then nobody took notice of me and the only other person who didn't know these people left and I was stuck with this constant stream of messages pouring in like a dam broke so I left the group" she typed. 'No, I don't want to bother him with my problems.' She thought, deleting the message. "Yeah, you?" She ended up sending. But she wasn't. She wasn't alright. Tears were streaming down her face. Her boyfriend wasn't replying. She was hugging the Teddy for strength and she frequently had to bury her face in the pillow so that her dad didn't hear her cry as it was so late. She wasn't alright.
"Good. I gtg now, night"
'Great.' They had only just started talking. Was everyone she thought cared just going to leave?
"Ok, night!" She said, her message sounding as cheerful as she was unhappy.
"Night Daisy" he said and logged off.
