"Please don't go mommy. I love you. I'll be so much better. I won't mess up or do anything wrong. Please don't let him take me."
"Honey this is for the best, he will provide you with food and shelter. Which we just can't do right now. Please be good while you are here."
She sounded so stern saying her good-byes. I didnt understand. She wasn't crying or hugging me. What did I do wrong?
"Please don't go. Please, I don't want to go with him. I won't eat anymore or cause you and daddy to yell. Pleaseee..."
I was sobbing my eyes out when the intimidatingly strong guy picked me up and started pulling me away from my parents.
"Noo!" I screamed and kicked at the guy that held me.
"Listen to the nice man sweety. It will be ok."
They turned around and started walking back to their car, eyes gleaming with sadness and inner turmoil.
