Phil's Story

DANS P.O.V

I've been conscious for a couple of days and haven't bumped into the girl  called Lilly I'd met  when I first woke up. I headed to the hall way I'd first met her in and funnily enough she was there. I noticed her long black hair was no longer long it was cut in a pixie cut! I wander why she cut it. I thought it looked really good on her! Her choice though. If she likes it like that then I'm sure it looks great! I walk up to her and sit down. "I'm back" I announce enthusiastically. She forces a smile and greets me. "Your looking at my hair aren't you?" I wasn't. "It was crap before! It looks even worse now!" I stare at her like she's crazy before a reply "your hair was beautiful! Its beautiful now too! What the fuck do you mean it was crap! People would bloody die to have long, silky, black hair like yours!" She sighs. "It was too long and It wasn't silky and nice it was greasy." We sit their for a moment. "Dan! I've been looking for you" phil came rushing down the hall. I look over at Lilly and see her giggle. Rolling my eyes I stand up and hug my boyfriend. "How long have you been here for?" I ask. He smiles awkwardly. "I don't leave" I almost punched him in the face but managed to contain myself and just slap his arm. "YOU HAVE SCHOOL! YOU CAN'T FAIL COLLAGE JUST BECAUSE I FUCKED UP!!" Phil lays a kiss on my cheek. "I'm getting my work down dan. When I" he uses his fingers as quotation marks. "Leave" he smiles. "I go and do the work I've been missing out on but I only go to the cafeteria Incase you need something" I smile and phil's kindness and introduce him to Lilly. Lilly looks like she's about to burst, literally. She asks phil "are you a.. A ... PHAN" phil confusingly looks towards dan. "It's our ship name" dan informs. The three sit their laughing talking about nothing in particular. Phil and I Head back to my room when the nurses come round with food.

Once in my room with my chicken nuggets I turn on the shitty tv I have. The avengers were on! I look over at PHIL who's wearing a captain America shirt which makes me laugh. Phil looks really excitedly at his shirt and back at the Tv. It was like he was 5 and he had tasted ice-cream for the first time. Not gonna lie it was pretty adorable. I notice phil's cheeks go pink. I shot a smirk his way before continuing my concentration to the movie. "Shut up" phil nudges me before kissing my cheek. "Hey dan." Phil asks nervously. "Yea" I reply only half listening. "Can I, uh tell you a story" I stop watching the Tv and face my cute lion waiting for him to continue. "Uh so can I?" Phil asks oddly quietly. "Of course" I say nudging him on. "Well. When I was 14 I figured out I liked guys more then girls and if I'm being honest it fucked me up for a long time. I thought I had some illness others would avoid me for. I went to my best friend Carrie. She told me it didn't matter who I loved as long as I was happy. It took me a while to understand that my sexuality wasn't a bad thing because well I wasn't happy with myself and that's what confused me about what Carrie had said but now I may not be happy with life but I'm happy with who I am as a person and that's what she was trying to get across. She told me to be careful but not so cautious I missed out on opportunities. I didn't get teases a couple times but not much compared to what you've been through but the point of me telling you this is to let you know that" phil took a deep breath and I saw a tear form in his eye "even though it won't always seem like it, if you keep fighting, everything will AND I promise you, everything will turn out okay."

My eyes start to water and I snuggle into my man. I love him so much. "Phillip." Phil rolled his eyes. "I'm completely in love with you and i don't think I've ever been happier in my life and ironically I'm in hospital because of my depression." Phil and I must fall asleep during the movie because when I wake up at about 4am I'm still in his arms.
