science, magic & secrets ( a yogscast fan fiction )

I miss you I need you I love you

" W-What? that can't be, could it?" I asked.

" You mean, you didn't know?" he asked, tilting his head slightly to the right.

I shook my head slowly in response.

" I knew I had science in my genes, but not the magic." I said, but thinking back, that would explain quite a bit. Rythian put his hand under his chin in a thinky way and hmmms before snapping his fingers, making a book appear magically. He flicked through the pages quickly before stopping at a page and mumbled a few words as he read the page.

" Science and magic are polar opposites." he said as he read the book.

" If the 2 are combined, either scientifically or magically, the results are catastrophic. the elements are unstable, unless they have a body to inhabit. the body, whether its human or creature, will go through physical changes that are more suited to the power within. if the body is mixed with other objects whether they're science, magic or any other element, the appearance and abilities change more drastically depending on the amount of things are in the equation." He continued before closing the book shut.

" Follow me." he said before heading towards the door. I quickly gathered my cape from the ground and followed him out the door. on the way out we bumped into zoey.

" Zoey, we're heading back to camp. I need to show kit something." Rythian said as he walked right by her, not even looking at her.

" Oh alright. I'm going to stay here for a while." she said. we started walking towards the camp until a voice yelled back from behind us. we turned around to see zoey running towards us, holding something in her arms.

when she finally caught up to us she was panting.

" I forgot to give you this." she said as she handed me a red skirt that looked a lot like a kilt.

" I looked in my cloths for something that would suit you, but all I had were black shorts and that's not really an improvement. But ravs grew out of this one a while back so he let me give it to you." she beamed.

" Thanks zoey. and tell him I said thanks." I said before she ran off back towards the village. I turn back to face Rythian to see that he had already started walking off.

" Hey, wait up!" I shout as I run after him. he came to a stop and I caught up to him.

" That was rude." I said as we walked on.

" What was?" he asked.

" You just completely ignored zoey!" I said half yelling.

" So?" he asked nonchalantly.

" So, you should at least acknowledge her. you two are friends and friends shouldn't ignore each other." I said as he stopped.

" What do you know. you weren't there when she betrayed me for science, or when she was blown up by the nuke! who are you to tell me how I should act around her, you don't know what we've been through together!" he yelled, still not looking at me. We walked in silence after that until we got to the camp and walked over to an enchanting table.

" Could I get changed into my new skirt?" I asked, breaking the silence.

" Sure. use my tent." Rythian said as he pointed towards a nearby tent. I walked over to the tent and went in. after I got changed into my new skirt I noticed a book. must be a spell book I thought as I picked it up and flicked through the pages. I stopped at a page and read it:

It's been a few days since she left me. I'm regretting yelling at her, I wish I could say I'm sorry. I wish she didn't keep it a secret from me, it's like she doesn't trust me. sure I've had a rough past with science, but she didn't have to keep B.A.R.R.Y. hidden away underneath our base. I don't mind her doing science, it's just the fact that she kept it a secret. she betrayed me. but that doesn't matter now, all I want is for her to come back home where she belongs. but I'm glad she has Teep with her, he can protect her for me. if anything ever happened to zoey I... I don't know what I'll do. but I know that I would regret telling her how I feel. The next chance I get, I'll tell her exactly how I feel:
