Chapter One:
"My parents are terrible, I'm sure they spawned in hell."
-----------------------|----------------------
"You worthless bitch!!" My father yelled at me.
"Don't waste your time on her Spencer." My mother scolded him.
My dad took off his leather belt and beat me with it. Tears streamed down my face, but no words, nor scream came out.
I've been silenced for over 10 years.
Taught never to be happy, to never talk, never go outside, have no friends, and even never to talk back.
My father dragged me to my room in the attic, by my wrists. I winced in pain, but didn't say a word.
He threw me in my room and locked the door, screaming "THAT THING IS A MISTAKE!!" To my mother.
I mumbled something for the very first time in 10 years. "I need to get out of this hell hole.."
I looked at myself in my mirror, black eye, pale face.
Not a speck of happiness in my once sky blue eyes, now their just a dark blue, almost black.
My raven black hair, once always straight, now tattered and tangled.
I found an old brush and brushed through the messy knots. Revealing a nicer looking teen, not a sex slave to random strangers for money.
I saw my wrists in the mirror, sliced by decision, not by force.
Then I eyed my clothes, black t shirt, blue skinny jeans, and then the black socks. Clean clothes were required or I wouldn't eat, sleep, or even should I dare say, strip.
It's not natural for a 17 year old girl to be in this condition, or anyone for that matter.
I looked at my window, boarded up. Good thing I'm kinda strong. I tried to get the wood off by tugging on it, no luck.
Then I remembered I had my mirror.
I picked up the long glass and threw it at my window, that did it. It shattered in millions of pieces.
I quickly thanked god that there was a tree next to my window and got out if the house, climbing down the tree.
I went out the front and ran down the road, no shoes. Oh well.
I reached the end of my horrid street and ran down to the bus stop. The bus got there in like 15 minutes. Finally.
I got on the bus and sat in a seat, I can't wait to get the hell outta here.
The bus driver took me to the other side of town, good thing she didn't make me pay.
I walked through the park for a little bit; sitting on a bench. I closed my eyes for a second, and felt someone touch my shoulder.
"H-hey.. You alright?" A brunette male with crystal eyes asked me.
I just nodded, and he sat down. "Oh, okay. It just looks like you were in a fight.." I sighed, "not so much a fight, more of abuse.." He gasped and said "oh by who?! This is terrible!" "My parents.."
I sighed once more. His jaw dropped, "Well do you need a place to stay?? I have an extra room!" I nodded in agreement. "Sure why not." He lead me to his car and drove me to his home.
This could get interesting.....
