Hate at first sight

Prologue




Once upon a time their lived a beautiful princess in a huge kingdom.They say that she has the perfect life. She's rich, beautiful, has a loving family, and knows all the right people to get her way. But when you really dwell on her real life you would see that she is far from having a perfect life. Yeah she's rich and beautiful but she doesn't have the perfect loving everyday family as far as vampire families can go. And yes she knows all the right people or so people think. It's quite the opposite. She knows all the wrong people and when I say wrong I mean cold blooded killers. Not just because she's the princess of vampires. Do Not get vampires mixed up with vampire rogues. Vampires are your typical Edward Cullen type where they only drink animal blood. ( IF YOU HAVENT WATCHED TWILIGHT THEN YOU WOULDN'T KNOW HIM THE ONLY REASON I KNOW IS BECAUSE I WENT THROUGH THE PHASE OF LOVING TWILIGHT NOW I DONT REALLY LIKE IT) Vampire rogues are vampires that are stronger than most vampires because they drink human blood each and every night. So anyway the people that she knows or more so she needs to know to survive. Someone is threatening her, she doesn't know who because every night on her bedside table they leave a note that says some sort of threat that if she doesn't get the information they needs from these people he or she will kill her father. And while time for her is running out she has to go to the most dangerous vampire for help. So let's hope she makes it out alive or dead. But preferably alive.


































Chapter 1

(Joeys p.o.v)

"Father I don't want to go to kris's house!" I scream to my father from my side of the room. He just sits there calmly on the couch and says "Honey I know you don't want to but you have to. Wether you like it or not you and him are a couple." "We're not even dating! Were not even friends!" I shout back at him still furious for him making me do this. I don't want to see kris I know I may sound like spoiled brat but you do not know kris. He's always trying to flirt with me and let me tell you he cannot flirt to save his life. Seeing as we are already dead though that wouldn't quite work out. But anyway my father wants us to be together because you know the classic reasons I'm rich, he's rich, I'm beautiful, he's beautiful, I'm princess he would make a good prince. Are you getting the picture? "Mrs. White and Mr. White your ride awaits." Our butler Barry says to me and father. Father just nods politely while I throw Barry a smile and mumble a thank you. Father then looks at me and glances at the door where Barry left "We are not arguing about this.Now get in the car so we can leave. This is for the best so we are going to kris's house, you are going to have a good time, and he is going to ask you out and you will say yes. Got it?" Oh now he has made me furious I could feel my eyes turning orange. I'm the only one who has eyes that change color to my emotions. I inherited them from my mom. Only a certain type of angel had eyes like that and she was that type of angel. Their called diamond angels I know weird name. And since she's my mom I also inherited this so I am part angel and also have wings. But back to the situation at hand. I'm still furious at father he knows that I hate being told what to do. "Yes" I reply to his earlier demand. We then proceed to walk to the car or more so carriage since we live in a little village we sort of like to blend in. My father doesn't but I do. It's a silent ride to kris's house except for the occasional thump of one of the wheels going in a pot hole. When we finally arrive my father gets off first then I gather up my dress and walk after him into the house that I call my personal hell hole. Before we could knock on the door kris opens it, shakes fathers hand and pulls me into an empty feeling hug.I carefully put my arms around him so I barely touch him and pat his back. "Okay. Okay." I say while looking down awkwardly. He knows that the hug was far too long than I would've liked so he of coarse does that. Finally when he releases me I take a few steps away so he won't try to do that again for some reason. He then smiles and sweeps a hand towards the door and says "Come in come in" We walk in and father takes the one seated chair so now I'm stuck sitting next to kris. Kris must have also seen this since he sits down after me and puts his arm around my shoulders. I do what any other girl would have done. I grab his arm and roughly shove it off the edge of the couch. It makes a thump noise and my father finally decides to intervene. "So kris how is Annabel and Eric I haven't seen them in ages?" I look out the window uninterested while kris answers the question about his parents. "Oh their fantastic! They just got back from their trip to the Bahamas." I'm a little shocked but don't show it. Vampires rarely go to places like that I don't know why though. Probably because there's not really animals at those type of places. Father doesn't even looked shocked at all like he's already known that kris would say that. Like they've been rehearsing this. "oh well I have a question to ask. Would you like to go on a trip sometime to somewhere just you and jo?" He did not just ask that. Tell me he did not suggest that I.... "No I'm sorry but no I'm am not going to do that did you even think to ask me before you decided this?" I ask father appalled by the near idea of being around kris longer than I already have to. My father doesn't respond to my question just asks "may I go get some tea?" Kris just smirks and nods as a reply. When my father turns the corner to the kitchen kris takes his chance to slip his hand slowly up my leg. "Why don't you wanna go somewhere alone together? We could have so much fun." He tries to sound seductive and he succeeds. Which is really weird seeing as he can't really do anything like sports or hell he can't even walk in a straight line. But anyway. I might as well use this to my advantage. So I lean over and whisper seductively in his ear and say "Do you know what sounds like fun?" He looks shocked for a moment but quickly recovers and says back in the same voice as me " What sounds like fun to you?" I slowly smile and abruptly sit back and say "My foot up your ass" His jaw drops while my eyes slowly turn to red which means I'm angry and orange means I'm furious. I then proceed to walk to the door yell to father that I'm leaving and I'll see him at home. Once I walk out I walk slowly into town while lightly holding the front of my deep red dress. As I walk I feel everyone's eyes on me and I go up to a homeless person that has a little girl and a dog. I look into his eyes and see that he's absolutely terrified. He shouldn't be though and the little girl also looks terrified. I squat down and reach for my purse. Then I pull out at least 100 dollars and I put it in the cup that he's holding. Not waiting for his reply I get back up and leisurely start my walk to the house.
