Hi, I'm Oliver. I'm 14 and I'm transgender. I prefer to listen to music then to go outside.
Oliver POV
I was sitting on the roof because I do that every night waiting to see if Eli would come out on his roof. Eli is a friend of mine...a friend with benefits.
I saw him close the front door and leave with his other friend Alex.
I go back inside because he probably did even remember we were supposed to hang out.
Right as I shut my window I hear soft knocks " Olivia honey your father and I want to have a talk with you " my mum tells me through my never open door.
I sighed. I told them about me being trans and they don't respect it...
" I'll be right out mom " I sighed almost out of breath.
As I leave my room I could already smell the cigarettes and coffee. I walk into the kitchen where I see my father all dressed up and my mother by his side. I took the seat across from them.
" Listen Olivia..."
I cut my dad off right there.
" It's Oliver dad. We've been through this a thousand times " I said with a pitch of attitude in my voice.
I didn't except him to get so mad
" NO, I refuse to believe you are a " boy " you never were and you will never be. You are a beautiful young lady and that will never change no matter how much you want it to!"
I looked over at my mother and she's just slightly nodding her head.
" WHY CANT YOU BE SUPPORTIVE! " I yelled it louder then expected.
I couldn't look at them any longer and I walked back upstairs and shut and locked the door and blasted my music.
