The Sorting ceremony

As I walked into the Great Hall familiar faces stare back at me Fred and George stare at me with a mischievous gleam in their eyes.  I only knew the Wesely Brothers because my big sister is in their year at Hogwarts. Her name is Harper you probably haven't heard of her she tends to blend in a bit too much. Anyway I'm extremely nervous, this is the day I will be sorted and can officially join Hogwarts!
As Professor McGonagall read my name out I walked it to the stage I sat on a wooden stool. Professor McGonagall didn't quite get to actually resting the hat on my head it already shouted...
"RAVENCLAW!"
A cheer escaped from my lips as I rushed over to sit with my sister on the Ravenclaw table. I turned to watch the rest of the ceremony. A boy named Draco walked up and sat on the stool. He's cute! Gosh y/n STOP, this isn't like you to be attracted to boys on your first day! He got sorted into Slytherin, I was a bit bummed about that as I won't be able to see him! Just then I remembered we may have classes together! "YES" I shouted. Oops did I say that out loud oh no!
"HAHA HAPPY FOR THE MALFOY Y/N?!" Harper said. I was so annoyed with her for humiliating me!
After the ceremony I stormed of to find my dorm I walked along endless corridors until I found my room I walked in. It was a grand room with four, four poster beds with blue curtains. All the walls were a light blue. I was the only one in there yet a trunk lay at the foot of each bed. I quickly spotted mine because of my beautiful snowy, white Persian cat sat on my trunk.
"Thank goodness you got here alright Ava!" I said to my cat. I looked across at the other trunks to see cats sat on top of them too! One a Black cat, one a Ginger Tom and another beautiful Grey one. Just then, three girls entered the room.
