Before the Times RVB

This is a Short story

Rose's Pov:

I was playing in the yard with some of my toys in the hot sun on the soft green grass.

I had a tall black doll with a white face, a purple pony that the tall one was riding on and a doll with a brown vest and a grey Dress pants.

I was waiting for my parents to get home to the Manson so I could go see my friend.

As I sat there my ears suddenly pricked up as I heard something in the bushes something was in there, I slowly crept up to it slowly listening very closely "Mum,Dad is that you. are you home" I say sniffing the air it was a foul scent that I didn't know.

"Hello. Violet is that you" I say suddenly a bunny jumped out of the bushes "ha" I say as I chase the bunny around the Yard "come here" I ponce. I miss. I keep running after it,

when I hear a car door close "Mum, Dad your..." I run up to the parking lot and I see a strange man standing by a black van "hello what is your name" he says "who are you. Go away this is my House" I say Growling at him down on all fours.

"Me my name is the Counselor what about you" He says "that's None of your business Now Leave Counselor" I Bark "I am sorry but I can't do that" he smiles As two men pick me up and put me in a bag.

"Let. Me. go." I scream "sorry little one but you are coming with us, you will see soon your new home" he says "No MUM, DAD HELP ME" I Howl.

Rose's Dad's pov:

I hear a faint howl from our house I grab my wife by the arm and pull her to the car "hun what are you..." "Rose is in trouble" I say starting the car and racing home.

When we get there I quickly get out of the car and run over to the back yard to find her toys just sitting on the grass alone. "Rose" I start to sniff around and pick up her scent and I ran around the yard after it And I come back to the parking lot where my wife was crying.

"where is she" she says "I...I..don't know" I hug her as we sit on the ground we both howl for her. But she doesn't answer.

The Counselor's Pov:

We bring the little girl back to the new Facility and we let her out into her new room "where am I let me out" she screams "you are safe" I say as I come through the door "you where did you take me" she gets down on all fours "we brought you to safety from the Evil around the area that you where" I say "no you didn't you took me away from my family" she says "no they where bad people, they wanted to hurt you" I say calmly.

"no they are my parents they care about me" she screams "maybe but we found this and had to come save you" I show her some plan to kill her "I don't understand I am only 3 years old" she says "they wanted to hurt you badly and your friend" I say "which one" she says "Violet" i say "are you going to help her too by putting her in a bag" she yells "sorry about that but the bag was to hide you from them so they couldn't hurt you." I say "Go away before I bite you" she snarled "fine,fine. Feel free to walk around a bit just don't hurt yourself" I say as I leave the room

Violet's Pov:

I was in my room playing around chasing my tail "I am going to get you" I say as I snap at it but I miss and smash right into a wall "oww, who put that wall there?" I say rubbing my head and my ears. My black cat ears twitch a bit, I shake my pale pink hair to tickle them "hahah" I start laughing at myself when I hear something outside. I look out my window and see nothing "hu, no one's there" I peer out more closely and I see a glimmer of something. I turned around to go see what it is and I run into a brown bag that was then sealed so I couldn't get out "who put that bag there? Let me out" I say squirming.

~Time skip~

I was finally let out of the bag into a room with two beds one had a light purple dona with a light blue pillow. The other bed had a darker purple dona with a red pillow, also in the room there were two desks with laptops sitting on them, there was two bookcase next to the desks. I jumped up on the light purple bed a I started look over it and I found a set of clothing it was a pale purple shirt with the name Light on the back in bold black letters and a pair of black long pants. I saw on the other bed though there was a dark purple shirt with the words Night on the back in bold white letters and a pair of black pants. "What why did I end up in someones room" I say.

"no it's your room" a man walks in with copper skin and black hair he wore a black suit with gray sides. "Hello my name is Counselor and this is your new home" he says "Mr C" i say "yes Mr C" he says "what did you mean my new home what happened to my old one Mr C" I ask "well I am sorry but it burnt down but we saved you" he says "what about my parents" my eyes start to well up with tears "they I am sorry but they told us to save you and they.. Went down with the house I am sincerely sorry" he says sitting on the bed opening his arms to give me a hug. I fall into Mr C's arms Crying "it's ok we will look after you and guess what we have a friend for you" he says. I look at him wiping my tears away. He left me alone in the room to my thoughts,

when a little girl burst into the room jumping on the other bed. I look at her "Rose is that you" I say Jumping to her bed and giving her a hug and start crying again "Violet what's wrong why are you crying" she says "mum, and Dad they...they're gone" I cry "what they took me away..." before she finished we hear gunshots "what's that" I say running to the door and opening it and looking out and I see Rose's parents "Miss, Sir over here" I yell. They looked at me and fired at me "hey it's me Violet. Rose's friend" I yell back at them "yes we know we just came to find Rose so we can Kill her" Rose's mum Yelled "what" I say as I shut the door. They start banging on the door. "Help" we scream "my parents are crazy!" Rose yelled.

Suddenly the banging stop and Mr C opened the door with a pole in his hand " are you ok children" he says dropping the pole to the ground "Mr C you saved us" I run up to him and hug his leg "thank you" Rose says, she isn't as emotional as me so she just sat there. "Now they are gone. lets begin you too need security details. Violet your new name is Light" he hands me the set of clothes off the lighter bed "Ok" I say "and Rose your new name is Night" he hands her the set of clothes off the darker bed "thanks" She smiles, he leaves and we put on our new clothes. There were paces where our tails could poke out.

Mr C's POV (oops I mean the Counselor):

"Director everything is going as planned the girls trust us. Agents Light and Night are now active" I say "good we will get them trained up as soon as possible and then the next phase will be put in motion" the Director said with a smirk on his face.
