Lillians POV I never thought this will happen to me moving to California I left behind everything my friends, my family, my school, my old life, and even my legs. It's been tough for me and my family, it's amazing how one simple thing can change your life in a snap.
"Dad are we almost there im tired." I said. "Were almost there sweetie hold on tight, Ok?". "Fine." I said moaning. Looking out the car window noticing a abandoned house with people in it. I lean my head on the window shifting my body to get more comfortable, I fall asleep. "WAKE UP SWEETIE." Moms says opening the car door. Waking up I yawn stretching out my arms. "I barely got any sleep." I say while dad helped me out the car and into the wheel chair. Struggling to push the wheel chair, I look at the new house. "Wow its big better than I expected." Dad laughs. "Yea, it was hard to find but it was worth it." Mom lends me my bags and carries the rest in the house, with me following her. "Thanks." I say smiling. "Your welcome." Smiling back. "Also your room is down the hall to the left." "Okay." I follow mom's directions leading straight to my room, opening the door to my room, I smile its was big !! My kinda room and had sky blue painted walls, my favorite color. I head back to grab my stuff. "Do you like your room ? "Mom asks smiling. Her smile was always so big and bright. "I love it !" I say giggling. "Good." "Some guys should be here soon to help put away the heavy things." Dad says. "Okay." I say nodding my head. I grab the rest of my stuff and head back to my room. Opening my bag I take out my laptop. I open it up and sign in. I look to see if anything new happened, a notification pops up -you have one message. I click on the notification and see that my best friend Vivian Richards had messaged me. "Text me when you get to your new house." I smile texting back "Hey are u there ?" I close my laptop and put it back in my bag. "LILLIAN !" Yells mom. I head out of my room to see what she wanted "Yes mom ?" "Me and your dad are going to the store to grab some lunch, Wanna come ?" "Nah ! I will stay." "Ok if the guys come here before were home call us ,Okay ?" "Okay." I head back to my room closing the door behind me. I open my bag, I get out my phone and earphones and listen to some music. "BYE LILLIAN." My parents yell out. I turn down my music "BYE MOM, BYE DAD !!" I call out turning my music back on. After a while I hear a knock at the door. I hurried to put my stuff away and get to the door. I open it. Its the guys, dad was talking about there were three of them. "Hey, were here to help with moving in." "Your at the right house, please come in." I said giving them the keys to open the trunk to the items. After, I searched for the phone and call my parents. I leaned on the counter and nodded as my parents told me where they wanted everything. Soon, they hung up and I passed what they told me to the workers. I noticed one of them kept smiling at me, he was cute.

I smiled back. "Hi." I waved at him. He seemed a little nervous but still smiled. "Hey, im Sam." He smiled revealing his shiny teeth. "Nice to meet you ! I'm Lillian, You from around here ?" I asked tilting my head in curiosity while moving my wheel chair a bit closer. "Yea, I'm a block down that's my uncle and my dad do you live by yourself ?" "No." I giggled, "My parents left to the store." "Ah." "Well looks like our work here is done, Miss Badger says Sams dad. "Thank you guys so much." I look for the money I owed him and gave it to him. "No, thank you." He smiled. He walks out to the car. "Um..We should hang out some time." "Sure." He hands me his number. "Bye !" He waves. "Bye." I close the door behind him. I go back to my room. Finally a bed ! I get out my wheel chair and jump onto my bed. All I could think about was.....him. I daze off to sleep.
