If you haven't read it, this is about a girl named Ayla in caveman times who is orphaned by an earthquake and raised by Neanderthals, ancient ancestors of the human race. On the left is Ayla holding her son, Durc, who is half human and half Neanderthal. On the right is her adopted Neanderthal sister, Uba.
