It was late in the afternoon and I just opened my door and slammed it shut. I turned on the T.V. and went to the bathroom and started washing the blood off my face and the went to the kitchen to get a bottle of vodka. I flipped the T.V. tot he news and took a swig of the vodka, then the newsman said "this just in there has been another victim of the man we call we call the "Devourer." I just smiled "As usual the word "devour is etched into the victims bones and now here's the picture of the victim" he said as the picture of the victim was brought up. The face, arms and legs were all but bone left. They've been stripped of the flesh and meat. They all had the word devour etched into them or what looked like devour. The chest of the victim was missing flesh and bits of meat along the heart. The victim was a 20 year old male named Ted. That much I knew before they did, because the person who did it was me. Then the news guy talked again "this just in we've received a picture of the devourer" my heart skipped a beat " we'll show it now, but it doesn't reveal everything" Then the picture popped on the screen the picture was of me indeed, but not my full face. The picture revealed my right eye and the corner of my mouth with blood on it, I was standing up looking back in this picture my black hair could be seen and the black pants, converse and my red and black jacket, the sword strapped to my back, the butcher knife in my hand and the machete strapped to my waist could all be seen, but the hood of my jacket was on my head so they couldn't see the rest of my hair. The eye is kind of proof that I'm not a human. I eat humans and drink their blood as wine. "scary as we all expected, but it doesn't fully show us everything about this guy. We only know him by the devourer, but what's with the deal with this eye of his. Is he even human" then I clicked the T.V. off and took another swig of my vodka. " my name is Desmond and I'm no human, very much a demon" I said out loud, then plopped down on my couch and drank the rest of my vodka and threw the bottle at the wall and it broke. The eye is a dead give away of who I am and now I have to hid it more since that photo was revealed. The one thing that it didn't show was that mu teeth were all canine teeth that are very sharp like a shark's. Anyways its almost time for me to go to sleep and get ready for my high school life tomorrow I have to act like a 18 year old when I'm really centuries old. I went up to my room and laid down on my bed and soon sleep found me.
My alarm went off at 6:00 A.M. and i got up and started preparing for school. I grabbed my eye patch and put it over my right eye, which was the red one, then headed out the door and walked to school, since it wasn't far from my house. I didn't dare get another jacket. because a lot of people wear the same kind of jacket.
I soon arrived at the school and to my surprise there was post where cops were at checking every one with a black and red jacket with black hair. Then one of the cops pointed at me and gestured for me to come over there. I didn't really want to, but I might as we;;. I walked over there and he patted me down in search of weapons and then he asked me "Can you remove your eye patch?" "no i can't" "why not?" "my eye is sensitive to the light do to an accident." he the looked at me and debated if I was lying, which I was. "you're teeth are mighty sharp and abnormal" he said. "Shit" I though to myself I looked around to see if anyone was around but everyone was inside besides the cops. I just sighed and said "fine you caught me" he then waved the other cops over around me "you don't have to do that" I said then pulled my eye patch off to reveal the red eye "The word etched into those bones is Devore no Devour, just so you know, but I'll let you take me in if you don't tell anyone about me." The cop looked at me and said "why shouldn't we tell them that a murderer and a cannibal went to their school.""I was never going after them you damn fool. I was only eating people that were homeless or people who thought only of themselves" The cop nodded and another cop put handcuffs around my hands and lead me to a cop car. Soon the cop car jumped forward and we were off to the jail and I was starring out the window, To be honest I was telling the truth, the truth that I never hunted anybody in my school. I had respect and some feeling for them.
We were at the jail in no time, but they shoved me in a solitary confinement cell. I guess they didn't trust me around other prisoners and they shouldn't. They left me handcuffed and alone, but that was a mistake as soon as the door closed. My hands grew to a extremely high temperature and they melted the cuffs off of me. I rotated my hands to get feeling back in them and then I placed my hand on the lock and it melted then I pushed the door open and my stomach growled and I was hungry. Right next to my cell was another one with a person in it. I melted the lock and opened the door, he looked at me, but I just smiled and tackled him to the ground. He started fighting me, but my teeth sank into his neck with ease and he started screaming. I then ripped his jugular out and started ripping meat from his neck while still on top of him. Then the cops came once I was eating his face and I looked at them while sucking the nerves of his eyeball into my mouth, I smiled at them with my blood stained teeth while blood dripped from my face I held up my hand up as they fired bullets at me and they all stopped before they got close to me and the I pushed forward and they all went flying back at them and soon they were dead. I got off my victim ripping an arm from him to take with me to eat. I pulled my fist back and slammed it forward into the wall and it broke down. I walked out of the jail and started walking to the school, while eating the arm I just took.
Within a couple minutes I was back at he school and school hasn't even begun yet. I also finished the arm I was eating and put my eye patch back on. I went to the bathroom outside to wash off the blood. You know that anime "Tokyo Ghoul" well I'm basically a ghoul with crazy powers.
I soon got outside to hang with my friends before the bell rang to go to class. They question me a lot, but I gave them what I thought they needed to know. Then the bell rang and we went our separate ways for the day.
I soon ended up in the unisex bathroom grabbing my stomach and ripped the eye patch off to reveal that my red eye was starting to get black in the middle. I then sat on the floor with my back to the wall in pain. The hunger was getting worse and I was in an area filled with people I Know and the door opened and a familiar girl voice said "Desmond?" "Jessie" then she walked in and closed the door. She started getting closer "Stay away!" I yelled She backed up "What's wrong?" she asked "I don't want to hurt you" I said clenching my stomach more. I was hiding my eye "Please get away, I'm a monster." "What do you mean?" I looked at her with my red eye that was getting black in the middle. She gasped and backed up. "You're the Devourer" "yes, but I never did hurt anybody in this school. I've not bee hunting y'all and it's killing me I'm in too much pain" I said "What do you need" "blood...flesh....meat.....human parts" she backed up even more, but didn't leave she merely locked the door and got closer to me. " no stay away!" I yelled again, but the she wrapped her arms around me "please feed off of me. I care about you I really do." "I'll numb the pain for you but let me feed off your arm" she the fulled her arm in front of me and I licked above her elbow, she then lost all feeling from there."Please don't look at me while I do this" she then looked away as I bit into her arm snapping veins and searing tendons. I then pulled out the hunk if meat I bit into and swallowed it and then took more bites from her arm taking mire meat and flesh from her. I bit into one of her fingers pulling the flesh and meat from it and swallowed it, you could see the bones in her arm and in her finger. I was taking too much so I carved "Devore" in her bone and bit my finger and rubbed blood in the word, The skin and meat soon all formed back and I wiped away the place I licked and she regained feeling in her arm again. I then brought her closer to me putting my head near my chest "Thank You" "You're Welcome, but you did take a lot from me and write devore in my finger with your teeth" "Yea, but I'll make it up to you" "There is something you could do to make it up to me" "Yea what's that" she then got closer to me and kissed me and I Kissed her back. She pushed away and said "be mine" "you would be with a monster like me" "yes i would I like you for you Desmond" "I'll be your's then" and then we kissed again. I put the eye patch back over my eye and washed Jessie's blood from my face and looked at her she was just smiling like she never smiled before "Don't mention this to anyone" I said as a slipped a piece of paper into her pocket "I won't, I swear" she replied I kissed the top of her forehead and then unlocked the door, but didn't open it, instead I just stared at Jessie with her purple hair, black dress,and purple converse. She was the most beautiful girl in this school and she deserved to be with someone else than a monster like me. She looked at me with the question "what's wrong in her eyes that were a beautiful shade of purple. "what the hell" i said then wrapped my arms around her around her as I made the room bend and distort till we appeared in my house than I let her go.
Jessie looked around a bit confused until she saw my blades dripping with blood from where they were hanging. She looked at me "Don't worry bout that okay." I said as I wrapped my arms around her " are those the weapons you use to kill people" "yes, but it is to save them from me feeding on them. Its very painful and not a way to die." "oh" I tugged om her arm to follow me and she did. I took her to my bedroom. She then sat on my bed and I removed my eye patch and jacket. Once I removed my jacket all kinds of demon marks could be seen on my arms. She looked at me with questions in her eyes "ask me anything and I'll answer truthfully" i said "whats with those marks?" "Every demon gets a mark, but the most powerful ones get multiple ones and I'm the strongest one there is. Each one of these do a certain thing for me. There like tiny arms capable of many things" "oh" The wholes in the back of my shirt were quite visible but she didn't ask about that She was bust rubbing her hand over my marks "so what's with your eye" "well its kind of hard to explain. It's like a piece of equipment that can detect life around me, it is capable of many things and it proves that I'm a demon or what you call a ghoul" "interesting" She was still feeling over my marks seeing how different they felt,when she hit the hunger mark and my eyes flashed a bright red and then I ended up tackling her to the bed. Then the top of her dress ripped open by one of the marks that allows me to use invisible hand at will I then bit into the side of her stomach and took a chunk out of her and swallowed it as blood went everywhere, she was kicking and screaming bloody murder, but the I bit into her arm and took a chuck out of there and she screamed more. I then put one of her fingers in my mouth and started biting down she started pleading "Desmond no please. Stop this." but I didn't listen and bit down enough to once again rip the flesh and meat from the bone. But the I ripped her bra off and looked at her C-cup breasts. "Please Desmond! No! Don't eat from there. Please!" but i bit into the side of her boob and ripped a chunk and then another and another. She was screaming louder and louder and I had just finished eating her right boob before my eyes went back to normal and i realized what I'd done. I bit into my finger and rubbed it over my last name on her finger and she looked at me and saw the depressed look on my face "sorry" I muttered and went down stairs.
After about an hour Jessie came back down stairs all healed back to normal. She must have been looking for something to wear, because all she had on was my jacket covering her boobs, since i did rip the top of her dress off along with her bra, and what was left of the dress was made into a black skirt. She sat next to me and said "It's okay. It was my fault I shouldn't have been feeling your marks" I looked up at her and smiled as I pulled her closer to me. She smiled back then I kissed her and she kissed me back. I then placed her hand over a mark on my back. "what is that on" she asked me "my lust mark. wanna have some fun touch it." I replied and shed smiled and then pressed her finger against it and then i pulled my jacket off her revealing her boobs again. I pushed her back on to the couch and pulled my shirt off and began to make out with her. I untied our shoes and took them off as well and continued making out with Jessie on the couch.
Hours later we had just got done having sex and i grabbed my red converse, a gray t shirt, my black jeans, and a gray buckle jacket along with my giant sword. I then left the town I once called home and the girl I loved behind. I needed to get away and fast and I needed to be back where I belonged.
