~ Mia ~

"Hey Mia, do you have a pencil I could borrow?" Zach asked me.

"And why would I give a pencil to you?" I asked.

Zach is like the biggest ass in this school and unfortunately, he sits right next to me in science class.

"Do you have a pencil or no?" He asked.

Short tempered much?

"No Zachary, I don't." I said.

I knew he hated it when people called him by his full name so I smirked knowing I hit a nerve.

This is going to be fun.

Nothing could be more interesting than Zach bursting in a boring science class where we only take notes in silence.

"Why do you have to be such a bitch?!" He yelled.

"Zacha-" I cut off my teacher, Mr. Marshall.

"Me?! I don't have a pencil for you to use!" I yelled.

Zach raised his hand and it was inches away from my face so I shielded myself with my arms, ready for the contact.

However, I didn't feel anything at all.

No stinging, no contact, no pain.

I took my arms away from myself and lowered them to my side.

What I saw in front of me really made my heart beat like crazy.

Justin was holding Zach's wrist, restricting him from hitting me.

"If you hit a girl, you're a dick." Justin spat.

Zach was quick to release his wrist from Justin's grasp and turned around to face him.

"Are you saying I'm a dick?" Zach said in a deep, menacing voice.

"If the shoe fits." Justin said, not scared at all.

"That's it." Zach said before he threw a punch in Justin's direction.

"That's enough!" Mr. Marshall yelled.

He broke up the fight between the guys and everyone and everything was dead silent.

"The three of you, to the office. Now!" He yelled pointing to me, Zach and Justin.

"But I didn't do anything!" I complained.

"Now Miss. Blue!" He yelled again.

I didn't want to get into any more trouble that I already am in for no reason so I walked out the door, after I grabbed my binder and one pencil.

I heard two pairs of feet behind me as I trudged down the hall to meet the death place.

"Hey slow down a bit will ya? This isn't a race." Zach said.

"Hurry the god damn fuck up and don't tell me what to do." I snapped not even giving him one tiny glance.

"Feisty Mia, I like it." He said.

I decided to ignore him because we were already here so I kept my mouth shut and walked inside.

"Are you three from Mr. Marshall's room?" The secretary asked.

I swear she thinks she's young even though she's like 60.

Every school has one of those.

"Yes." I simply said.

"Mr. Johnson is in his office waiting for you." She said.

Mr. Johnson is our school principal and I've never actually encountered any time talking with him.
